My family and I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff are amazing! I didn’t get to experience the sushi restaurant. I’ve heard from several friends that its good. I miss the opportunity. I will stay in this hotel again.

Portograuro is one of the loveliest towns that has everything. So, it is not surprising a hotel like Hotel Spessotto is here. The hotel is pretty and comfortable. What I valued more was the lovliest staff from the cleaning lady who greeted us every morning when we passed her to go to the cafe, to Ricardo (the Barista) who is truly one of the nicest people you could meet. Every morning you will find him making the best cappuccino, while smiling and singing (on key) his favorite songs, to the amazing women who work at the receptionist desk. If you are looking for the best location, a pretty hotel, the kindest people you can ever meet, then this is your hotel!

Great hotel in Portogruaro
Lovely hotel in great location. Very clean - I was particularly concerned due to Covid but needn't have worried.Comfortable bed, great shower. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was charming and very comfortable. The location can't be beat and the staff was very helpful, providing great restaurant recommendations!

I loved the location. It was central to shopping, attractions, family and beaches. It was very clean and felt very safe during the day and at night. The only drawback was that our room did not have a window to look out on. There was a window on the roof that was too high and we could not look out.

Beautiful setting in the old town. Just a short 10 min. Walk to the train to Venice. Would definitely book again.

A wonderful hotel.
Friendly staff, great breakfast, tastefully decorated and clean rooms, this is a hotel I always enjoy visiting when I'm in Portogruaro to visit my family. The location is great too; in the heart of the old center of town, and an easy walk to the train. A fine hotel!

Nice hotel, great location
We stayed at Hotel Spessotto for 5 nights and had a lovely time! The location is conveniently located within the city center and we were able to walk around and enjoy it quite easily. On Thursdays, a street market is set up through many of the streets and we found their set-up quiet and did not disturb us. We opened our shutters that morning to find the street in tents! It was great to wander and shop that day, so we found this to be an added bonus to our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke great English. She even came into the restaurant with us to assist in a lunch order, which was unnecessary but certainly appreciated! The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Staff would also make special coffees to order if you didn't want the "American coffee" at the buffet. Outdoor seating out front was great on those fresh mornings! The rooms were simple and clean. The bathrooms were spacious and beautifully tiled! Big fluffy towels too! The furniture is good quality solid wood construction; armour, desk, headboard, and night stands. The sconce lighting appears to be Murano glass. Air conditioning worked perfectly. We were able to easily walk to the train station with our luggage but I would recommend having someone show you on a map as its a bit tricky. If you have a lot of luggage or it is heavy, get a taxi. It took us 11 mins to walk there. We would stay at Hotel Spessotto again!

Such a charming Italian town!
They have free bikes to use and some wonderful bike trails to take and see other quaint medevil towns. Also they have a nice breakfast and cheerful staff. Also they have safe car parking.

Had a very nice stay room was small but very comfortable and clean Excellent bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the restaurant. Staff was fine but the food was not as I remembered. There are many good eateries close by.

Old style hotel in lovely town close to Venice
The hotel is traditional, very well situated in the centre of Portogruaro. The rooms can be small, but the beds are very comfortable and clean and the showers wonderful. The staff if extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet not bad.

Enjoyed wonderful 2 night stay. Friendly assistance from the concierge. Delicious snacks with drinks in the bar. Enjoyed the breakfasts. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Very nice in this price.
In general, the condition of this hotel is good, but it is very hard to find the way to arrive, even with GPS. You must search local residents to help you if you drive a car. It is a strange way to arrive this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel with a fantastic restaurant which I would recomend on its own, It was really that good. My problem was the room was not as described, My superior room was ver comfortable except it did not have a window so felt quite oppresive without natural light. The staff were very helpfull. The rooms do not have wireless internet as described. But overall i would recomend the hotel, I would have liked the description to hav been more accurate.

Beautiful Hotel
This hotel was beautiful and small in a very cute town. Unfortunately the town was too sleepy and didn't have much in the way of nightlife or food options. Even without those options, it was beautiful and worth taking half a day to wander the streets. Service in the hotel was superb. The staff was attentive and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

My family and I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel The staff was friendly and helpfull, spoke English well. 45 minutes away from a great beach in Italy BIBIONE, 1 hour from Venice on the Freeway.

Excellent hotel, furnished to a very high standard. The staff speak English and were extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is situated in the centre of the old town which has a lot of historic buildings and is very interesting. It was a little difficult to find the hotel whilst driving because of the 1 way system and road signs indicating limited access to the town centre, however once you know to ignore the signs it is easy to return. We had no problems with parking at the hotel but at busy times may be difficult because of limited number of spaces Great value would return.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast, real buffet, unlike the traditional Italian way that you need to ask for food. The room is big and clean, the hotel is in the center with its own parking, otherwise parking there would be difficult, the lady at the front desk is really helping and nice, also the working ladies. Would for sure recommend for a family trip.
