We’ve stayed here a number of times and it’s always a pleasure. The rooms are clean, the location is perfect and the staff is always friendly. We do try to book during less busy times though because rates can fluctuate greatly.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The location of the property is terrific for exploring Portsmouth. The amenities weren’t something we could take advantage of—the hot tub had a lot of yellowish colored foam in n top so we wouldn’t use and the “bar lobby area” was closed the room was clean except shower tile was worn and a bit grimy in a few areas.

Pretty standard hotel stay. Really you are paying for the location, right downtown Portsmouth. Very expensive in my opinion but nothing fancy. Whatever your bill is add $100 for valet and incidentals. For $400 - $500 a night I expect parking, room service, and free breakfast included. Staff was super helpful and friendly with good customer service though.

This hotel is clearly popular. Lots of people coming and going. And it's very well located in downtown Portsmouth. But it is not well maintained at all. Flickering ceiling lights all over the place. Doors have scratches on them. Elevator floor is chipping away. And the staff is...hit or miss. The person who checked us in copiedour name wrong, so our wifi didn't work, and they didn't tell us anything about breakfast, or other services.
