Beyond the great onsite restaurants, the wonderful spa, beautiful rooms and outstanding views of the water and the mountains, were the lovely and engaging team members from the attendants that greeted you to the front desk to every member of the resort, all were friendly and helpful.

I had a great week long stay for my honeymoon in mid October 2025. There are a lot of things to love. The setting is breathtaking, surrounded by lush green mountains and beautiful blue ocean. The grounds themselves are impressively maintained with colorful plants everywhere. It's basically a botanical garden. The staff were very kind and attentive. The pools were large and clean. Their shoreline is rocky, but we were able to do some snorkeling near their pier and saw a surprising amount of wildlife. If you want sandy beaches, there are a couple public options close by; they even have a walking trail to one of them. It was not yet peak tourism season on the island, so the resort was pretty slow, with seemingly only a handful of other guests. This meant that even with some live music at nights, the vibe was a bit dead, so we spent more time than expected in our room in the evenings. I assume at a busier time there would be a more lively vibe. Dinners and drinks were good. We also enjoyed a handful of restaurants nearby if you want to change it up. All in all, this resort is a great place to mix in some relaxation and luxury on an island that otherwise calls you to get out and explore.

The hotel is magical, just as it looks in the photo…..Everyone is super friendly and very helpful …The only meal I had was breakfast and it was delicious…. One thing though after paying all that money a night at least meals should be part of it but despite my one only hiccup sadly it has to end but enjoyed my stay immensely….I will definitely be back in the future….

The IHC was amazing, the property and staff were top rate. The pools were the highlight, and no one was there! Breakfast was great and the oatmeal was like nothing I have had before, who knew oatmeal could be so good! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the views were unbelievable. Would definitely stay there again, sorry we didn't have more time to explore Dominica. The drive to the hotel is a little long, but it is a great way to see Dominica. First Class all the way!

Lovely property w/ scenic views and great and helpful staff. Swim up bar was closed the entirety of our trip. Oddly enough no iron or ironing board in the room and we were advised that there weren't many on Property but we were provided one on our 3rd day there.

The grounds are beautiful, lush, and peaceful. The resort feels secluded without feeling isolated. Everything is clean, modern, and well-designed. The staff? Incredible. Everyone we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about the guest experience. The food was one of the biggest surprises of all. Every single meal was incredible. Breakfast each morning felt like a treat with options like saltfish, corned beef and Johnny cakes, Trinidadian doubles, and traditional American breakfast too. The lunch and dinner menus also delivered. The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable. But the real standout for me was the spa. It was absolutely stunning. The treatment rooms are set up like individual private bungalows, almost like little spa villas. You actually walk outside to get to your room, which adds to the tropical luxury feel. Inside, the rooms are spacious and serene with high-end touches. Another great feature was being able to charge taxis to the room, which made things so easy when I didn’t have enough cash on hand. One review I read claimed this resort was a “far second” to Secret Bay. I have to strongly disagree. I visited Secret Bay during my trip and while it’s beautiful, the InterContinental’s pool is way better, the grounds are easier to get around, and the level of service is just as high. This resort is a gem. I would 100% come back and I recommend it to everyone. If you’re on the fence, go. You won’t regret it.

The property is beautiful and the staff were very professional. There are several pools on site with a beach view. There are eatery places close by and the restaurant on the premise is very accommodating. The staff are very friendly and the rooms spacious and clean.
