Grotty hotel with no reception only a code to enter hotel and room no tea or coffee facilities very outdated but not cheap.

Terrible

Our worst hotel-stay for as long as I can remember. No reception, terrible cleaning (if any), no personell in the hotel, poor food for breakfast, and loud drunk people at night. The only ok thing was the beds, they were alright. I don’t think this hotel should be offered in Hotels.com. When we arrived we could not even get inside.

Electronic things did work well. No probems with opening the garage gate or room door. Problem - door from garage to hotel - was stuck. First we tought - it is locked. After applying more force we could open it, but this is not normal that I must break something to get in. Breakfest was pleasant with one exception - scrambled eggs was made on principe - more salt, less eggs.

Not good vakue for the money for us

-Notice that hotel has no reception, number code to get in -Rooms and interior are too old and we found mold on the shower floor. Elevator was small and slow, 5 floors -breakfest is not so great variety than usual in Finnish hotels. Many things ran out and nobody was seen anywhere to ask for more. No service and dishes were piling on the tables. There were bread and toppings, carelian pies ran out, sausages and eggs (so much salt that we could not eat at all), vegetarian version ran out, special coffee machine was broken, normal coffee was found, yogurt and mysli. -overall would not stay here again with this high price, luckily we had only one night.

you get what you pay for. A reasonable price for a totally outdated hotel. The rooms are clean but haven‘t been updated for ages. In the lamps still the good old energy saving bulls are flickering. Breakfast is simple. The location is ok, it’s close to shops and about 10 mins to the old town. The parking in the underground garage is very convenient.

Hyvä paikka nukkumiseen

Siisti hotelli, jossa ilmastointi toimi hyvin pahimmilla helteillä. Sisäänkäynti takapihalta on karu, mutta itse huone oikein menettelevä. Palvelua hotellissa ei enää ole, paitsi aamiaisella, joka olikin oikein hyvä lukuunottamatta puolison huonoksi arvioimaa kaurapuuroa.

Vanhahtava hotelli hyvällä paikalla keskustassa. Ei palveluita. Alakerran nepalilaisen ravintolan palvelu ystävällistä. Kohtuullinen aamiainen. Pysäköinti Aimo-park-sovelluksella tms. alakerrassa. Huoneessa ei ollut bidésuihkua. Jäähdytysilmastointi tehokas mutta äänekäs. Huoltoa kaivataan mm. wc-istuimen täyttymisen korjaamiseen ja kaihdinten ja verhojen toimintaan.

Helteellä osaa arvostaa ilmastoitua huonetta!

Vallan ok rauhalliseen yöpymiseen keskeisellä sijainnilla. Paikka yllätti positiivisesti annettuihin pisteisiin nähden. Ilmastointi oli hiljainen. Hotellista pääsi suoraan Nepalilaiseen ravintolaan, josta saimme maukasta ruokaa vielä klo 24 jälkeen (viikonloppu). Aamiainen oli monipuolinen mm. nakkeja, munakokkelia, karjalanpiirakoita, puuroa, jugurtteja, myslejä, muroja.

En menisi uudestaan.

Huone oli likainen. Lattia tahmainen. Vessassa mm. edellisten asukkaiden hammastahnatahrat. parkkihalliin oli mahdotonta ajaa, koska pari autoa (ravintolan työntekijät ?? )olivat parkkeeraneet autonsa sisäänkäynnin eteen. Aamupala oli kehno. Leivät oli otettu suoraan pakasteesta esille, olivat jäisiä ja huonolaatuisia. Mansikkahillo ja kinkut harmaita. Kahvi pahaa. Kallis, laatu ei vastaa hintaa, mielestäni ei hotelli vaan hostelli. Plussaa, että ilmastointi toimi hyvin kun oli hellettä.

The emailed check in with door codes and parking were good. The room was very basic but fine. One twin bed was more of a cot width but worked ok. There were zero plugs available by the bed so we had to string our cords from the opposite wall. One bed only had a chair to use as a bedside table. The air conditioning unit was dripping on the floor by the door and the bathroom and had created a small puddle. We found that we were only provided with 1 each towel/handtowel/bathmat for two guests so I contacted the hotel through Expedia and directly according to the sign on the wall of the room’s directions (no staff anywhere on site) to report the drip and ask for more towels so we could both shower. We put the bathmat on the floor under the drip to prevent possible slip and falls, particularly because my mother is 80. We finally received a response of a picture of a piece of furniture in a hallway somewhere in the hotel with towels in it but no real explanation about half and hour before we would have had to check out - we had already left. About 20 minutes later, I got a response regarding the air conditioning issue that said they would have maintenance look at it. So, we had no bath mat for a very wet shower situation (as many in Europe are), and I used the hand towel to dry off so my mom could use the regular towel.The towel warmer was good. Don’t arrive after 8 and expect to eat anywhere around- they close early. Grocery store was open though. Good location. OK breakfast.
The room was accessible, but would not ever pay this much for it again.
The ceiling outside our room, I’m guessing that the AC had previously acted up as well.
The entrance is actually on the side of the building, but it takes you into that spiral staircase that goes up to the restaurant. Your room code opens the door at the back of the building that will get you to the elevator with minimal stairs.

Rauhallinen hotelli

Siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli. Aamupala oli kohtuullinen, mutta ei mitenkään mieleen painuva. Hotelli huoneeseen pääsi vasta klo 16. Ajankohta oli kyllä mainittu hotellin tiedoissa, mutta jatkossa valitsen hotellin johon pääsee aiemmin kirjautumaan.
