The hottub was excellent. The hotel itself is loud. The town of Poteau is a college town in a sea of fast food. However, it does have the historical distinction of being location to Bonnie & Clydes last heist. If you have to stay? This is the place. For food, Willy's Warehouse Steakhouse a few blocks down.

We pulled in with a 24’ stock trailer and we were still able to park easily, large lot in the back for bigger vehicles. Our room, chosen because I like walk in showers, was great. The shower head was adjustable, the shower was actually a walk in, not a tub with bars around it, and there was good water pressure with temp and pressure adjustments. The bed was soft but not “sink into it soft”, giving my husband and I an excellent night of rest. The receptionist, Tracy, was very helpful and pleasant. Fast food is abundant with Braum’s and Sonic, plus coffee places within walking distance. The breakfast wasn’t anything to brag about, normal hotel breakfast. But the rest of our stay was above average. Cost was good too.

The staff was friendly and efficient, making check-in fast. We found the room and bathroom were spotless. This cleanliness was maintained throughout the stay with floors being mopped and consumables replaced each day. We especially liked the “always available” coffee machine, where we could grab a cup anytime. All hotels should add that! The bed was comfortable. Selection of TV channels was good as well.

We Always seem to get the room below with kids above us!! Pounding on the floor all night and then started that morning…. The shower is very nice but had poor water pressure. Trying to shower prior to departure the water pressure would fade in and out. The Hotel was very clean & that wasn’t the issue. Will probably never stay again.
