Penhors is on the ‘solar wind’ tourist route between the Pointe du Raz and Penmarc'h.
Just a few metres away you can enjoy a vast beach, offering an air of freedom and escape on the Bay of Audierne (supervised by the CRS in July and August).
From the Pointe du Raz to the Pointe de Penmarc'h, the Bay of Audierne is an exceptional, 100% natural environment. The fauna and flora are exceptionally rich, and the landscapes are highly varied: pebbled beaches, fine sandy beaches bordering dunes, marshes and ponds, cliffs that gain height as they approach the Pointe du Raz.
When it comes to activities, you're in for a treat!
Electric bike hire
Surfing, kite-surfing, paddle-boarding, sand yachting with the family or simply a walk along the many coastal paths with the GR34... Horse riding or cycling along the ‘solar wind route’.
A visit to the listed 12th century chapel of Penhors and the ruins of the chapel of Languidou in Plovan.
And also, a stone's throw away, the Musée du Coquillage in the port of Penhors.
In Pouldreuzic, the home of pâté Hénaff, the Kerné cider factory, the house of Pierre Jakez Hélias...
All local shops about 4 km away in Pouldreuzic.
