Nice location, rooms where up to date and clean. Parking was tricky with limited parking on road in front of property with an alternate parking garage (fee) that is undergoing with a lift (eleveator) which can only accommodate small and midsize vehicles

Lovely property and the museum gives it a unique edge. Breakfasts were delicious - the hot chocolate is fabulous - and the dining room staff were particularly lovely. We had some confusion on arrival about the twin room we'd booked, which caused some concern and delay, but it was resolved after an hour or so. Close to the river and lots of the city centre amenities.

The staff was welcoming, available to all our questions and provided great information to enjoy Coimbra. The accommodations are clean and adequate- not luxurious, but comfortable and pleasant. No serious issues but definitely a case of you get what you pay for. I stayed three nights and each night it sounded like people in rooms above and beside me were either smashing furniture or throwing suitcases across the room. This wasn’t the fault of the hotel and possibly a rare occurrence.
