"Some rooms were re-built and are looking really good. Bathroom has a very good shower too. Bed linen and towels a little too old although they're not bad. Rooms are comfortable, very clean, and the staff is absolutely amazing, super friendly and polite. Breakfast is delicious, with very good options. I hope I can come back soon. "

"A great place to unwind and relax. The pousada has a calm, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to disconnect. It’s located about 4 km from Maresias Beach, which is convenient if you have a car and prefer a quieter setting. The pool area is a nice touch, with sun loungers perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with a peaceful vibe. Keep in mind that the staff only speak Portuguese, so having a translator is essential if you don’t speak the language."

"I love this hotel. We had a fabulous time. The hotel is on the beach which is exactly what I was looking for. The staff is helpful and kind. Not all of the staff speaks English - not a problem but good to know. Our room was huge and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of food options. "I enjoyed my stay overall. The only complaint I have is that I requested a quiet room, and on my first night there was a guest birthday party. l had to leave my room around 10:00 pm to avoid the loud noise from party. Since I requested a quiet room, I expected to give me a room far away from any party. The owner and employees were very nice. The transportation to the beach was a plus."

"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....
