"Everything was great. From the hosts Douglas and his mother were amazing. Perfect location. Everything is walkable or 10 minutes by buggy. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order by the chef. We were extremely happy with our experience here. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Plus the charm of this place being so small was great. The pictures shown on here don't do it justice. It's a fairly new property but don't hesitate to book here! "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast (6:30am to 10am) and afternoon lunch (4pm to 6pm) were simply amazing (lots of variety, high quality and quantity, changed every day) and enjoyable... we really didn't need to eat anywhere else. Beach towels were provided. The internet only worked if you were near the reception and, even then, was sketchy but apparently that is common on the island. "

Experimentamos dois quartos diferentes, o primeiro amplo e com a vista privilegiada para a baía do Sueste. Sentimos falta apenas de lugar apropriado para pendurarmos as roupas de banho, pois haviam suportes apenas para as toalhas. No segundo quarto, este bem menor, precisa de algumas melhorias no banheiro, que encontra-se desgastado, e neste não havia nenhum suporte para pendurarmos as roupas de banho, nem para as toalhas. "Great property in general, friendly staff and a very comfortable stay. The pool was on maintenance while I was there, so didn't really get to use it, but also wished they had a hot tub instead of 3 pools. The steam while a great concept didn't work either. I liked the fact that it was a 15mins walk from one of my favourite beach Conceicao where you can spend time watching the sunset there. Given the fact that there is supposed to be 'no plastic' and eco-friendly, I would just recommend to have a water refill station for self service instead of needing to get someone to do it, they were always willing and happy to assist but this would save some time to have a drinking water refill station. "Are arrival to Hamares was great. Everyone was very open and friendly. The property was beautiful and well cared for, and our room was beyond expectations. It was my wife’s birthday and our anniversary, they prepared a cake for her with flowers on the bed. We felt very special!"
