LA CASETTA di Giovanni
A welcoming, independent residence in the municipality of Pratovecchio Stia, just a few kilometers from the main Tuscan art cities of Florence and Arezzo, just an hour's drive away.
On the first floor, 60 square meters.
The entire property is rented to a single group, with two bedrooms for up to six guests.
Guests have access to two bedrooms, which can be double or twin, a bathroom with a window (with shower, sink, bidet, and toilet), a living room, a beautiful kitchen with a dishwasher, sink, countertop, four-burner stove, oven, refrigerator-freezer, extendable round table and chairs, and satellite TV. A storage room is also available.

PLEASE NOTE: For reservations of up to two guests, only one of the two bedrooms is available.

Also suitable for those traveling without a car, as it is close to the town center and within walking distance of the train and bus stations.

The entrance overlooks the beautiful park with centuries-old trees, on the banks of the Arno River. The garden is equipped with a cozy pergola, table, chairs, a beautiful BBQ for preparing delicious barbecues, a solarium with loungers, and a children's playground. Opposite Casetta di Giovanni, the owner lives in a separate building with his family of three and a dog. The other side overlooks a public road.

PLEASE NOTE: Use of the shared swimming pool is approximately 5 km away, for an additional fee. Guests can swim in the lake, approximately 1.5 km from the center of Pratovecchio, or in the "Canto della Rana" public park in Stia, with waterfalls in the Arno River.
The owners welcome guests with their specialties, both upon arrival and every midweek.
The Adriatic Sea is approximately 90 minutes away, and the Tyrrhenian Sea is approximately 120 minutes by car.
Excursions are available to the Poppi Zoo, the Sanctuary of La Verna, the Camaldoli Hermitage, and the Casentinesi Forests National Park.
Florence and Arezzo are a 50-minute drive away, and Siena is an 80-minute drive. From Arezzo, the express train to Rome takes just an hour and five minutes, making day trips to the capital possible.

Quaint and comfy! Perfect for medium groups who don’t mind sharing rooms. The host is very upfront about it being near the main road and traffic noise is certainly present. Would not recommend as a quiet place to work but it was perfect for our group attending a local conference as a place within walking distance with a kitchen. The host Monica is very friendly and brought us homemade pasta!

Disappointing

We were underwhelmed with our stay the house wasn’t very clean we found cobwebs, garden furniture was dirty we had to wash it,the advert is miss leading the photos need updated they describe dining and living area but this is all the same area , it would be better described at two apartments in main advert than a 4 bed house , the outdoor space is in the neighbouring garden that we were told we could use but it felt very Strange and not at all private the hot tub was at an extra 250 euros for the week they say free WiFi but then the lady tried to charge me an extra 4 euros a day until I pointed out it was advertised as free she sent the WiFi over but signal was awful

Am Rande der Toskana

Das Ferienhaus war sehr behaglich eingerichtet und Monica, die Verwalterim hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Ihre selbstgemachten Nudelgerichte waren überaus lecker und haben uns durch das teilweise schlechte Wetter geholfen. Leider stand uns die untere Wohnung nicht zur Auswahl - sie war gerade in Renovierung. Es war aber auch nicht so schlimm da das oben erwähnte schlechte Wetter nicht wirklich zum Verweilen im Garten eingeladen hat. Der zum Haus gehörende Garten war klein aber ausreichend mit hübscher Sitzgelegenheit - naja vielleicht das nächste Mal. Die Lage des Hauses führt leider dazu dass die Geräuschkulisse doch sehr dominat bis spät in die Nacht vorhanden ist. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt. Nochmals vielen Dank Monica für die schönen Tage

Jolie maison arrangée avec goût

Une quinzaine merveilleuse dans une région enchanteresse. Nombreuses villes et villages à visiter, ballades en montagne. Paysage coloré et joyeux. La place de Pratovecchio est toujours animée le soir, on peut faire ses courses à pied et il y a un glacier très sympa. La maison est agréable à vivre, près d'une rue fréquentée, les propriétaires discrets et efficaces. Ils nous ont offert Tagliatelles et lasagnes extra. Viva Toscana, on y reviendra !!!

Soggiorno ultimo dell'anno in 10 persone

La casa è situata in una buona posizione per chi volesse visitare città vicine come Arezzo e Firenze; anche per fare la spesa, prendere il pane fresco o mangiare una buona pizza. L'immobile appena ristrutturato è molto gradevole, pulito e confortevole. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili; ottima accoglienza. L'ideale per passare una vacanza tranquilla nella bellissima toscana.
