"We enjoyed our stay at the Pantai Inn. We loved the helpful staff, the location of the hotel and that our room was like a one bedroom apartment. We enjoyed the shuttle service, the breakfast and the laundry service. All told we paid about $600 per night which seemed high. We hope to stay here again hopefully at a better rate. Thanks to all the staff."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Close, easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Two queen beds were comfy; the space was roomier than a typical hotel room and had a functional layout. We did not use the pool but it looked small but usable. The parking lot was also small but we found a spot every time we wanted to. Hotel gives you a “token” for each person so you can borrow beach towels, sand toys, chairs or umbrellas. Would recommend this quaint place for those on a budget!"

"The Lampshade House was perfect for our family vacation in LaJolla. The location was ideal for walking to the beach, stores, and restaurants. This place had the best ocean views from many rooms in the house. We loved our stay and look forward to going back."

"Perfect location with a great ocean view. Easy access to the ocean and great for getting out for walks. Great access to good and interesting places to eat. This part of La Jolla is very walkable or bikable. The unit has a fantastic shower. We made great use of the front balcony for viewing the ocean, sunsets and beach activity. It was a great place."
