This place is very beautiful. The pools are nice and the staff was friendly. The rooms have great air conditioning in you’re close to Hanalei. There’s a grocery store just over a mile away. It does take a while to get to other places on the island, but that was to be expected. This side the island is so beautiful and peaceful and this place made it very easy and comfortable.

We were updated to a 3br place. It was spacious and had a nice pool. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table, beautiful flowers on the grounds. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable!

Beautiful Resort Stay @ Bali Hai in Princeville

We were impressed with the resort and loved our stay at the Bali Hai in Princeville. We wanted something that we could easily get to beaches and activities on the north shore, and this was an excellent location and wonderful property! Spacious living, great amenities, and while we typically don't spend a lot of time at vacation home or resort, this place had us wishing that we did! Fun activities in the club house, extra items for beach on site to check out - all in all, it was a great stay! The one part of the stay that any hotel, resort or house cannot control is the roosters - their crowing at all hours through the night is not ideal and because they roam all over, you can hear multiple roosters all the time. Bring earplugs or find a way to block out the noise - the roosters are lovely to look at, but hearing them crow throughout the night (seriously ALL through the night!) is sometimes tricky. Also, it was a cooler week with a lot of rain while we were there - the unit is 20/day for each A/C unit in the rooms of the condo to use. We didn't need to use it at all, and felt that there was only one bedroom that really could have used a little extra air (the front bedroom didn't have great air circulation), but if it had been warmer and we were there during the daytime it could get hot and paying 20 for each room would get pricey!

Great space

The property itself is beautiful. I was disappointed to have to pay additional for air conditioning. This was probably my biggest dislike of the property. The kitchen had bare minimum essentials, so if you plan to cook in often, maybe ask the owner what is available so you know what you can/can’t prepare. I was informed bedroom 2 would have 2 beds, but it only had one. Thankfully my daughters were in the sharing mood. The property is beautiful And connected to other “developments.” Local to good shopping and restaurants. Great pool. Convenient to have washer/dryer. Be advised this is a time share resort and at check-in the front desk refers you to another desk for your “welcome packet,” where they try to sell you on wasting your time at a 60-90 minute presentation in exchange for something free. If you’re firm and tell them up front you are straight up not interested, they’ll listen and hand over the packet. Honestly, there’s nothing great in the packet anyway, and if you’d rather avoid the confrontation, just skip that part all together. The front desk could probably give you a printout of the schedule of events on property if you ask.Overall, great location and happy with our stay but annoyed by the inconvenience of bedroom 2 having only 1 bed and having to pay for AC.

The property manager was very quick to respond throughout entire process. Unfortunately, the location of the unit was less than desirable. It was in the corner near maintenance and golf carts which was noisy all day. The refrigerator door was unable to open all the way due to the depth of the counter. The free Internet was slow. The quality assurance of housekeeping needs work. Many light switches were dirty and some of the dishes were not clean in cabinet. The property manger should update description as the deposit is now 250 not 100 as listed. Air conditioning is a 20 dollar fee if wanted. The beds were very comfortable and there was good water pressure in showers. The pool was very nice and the area was kept clean. Family friendly resort.

The grounds are lovely The pools are wonderful. My 21 month old granddaughter loved the sandy beach area in the pool. The rooms have been upgraded from the horrid pink and teal pictures you see on line. Very tastefully done. We were very happy staying here and if we come back would chose it again.

New, tidy, well-appointed property. We loved our stay. We had everything we needed - beach towels, umbrella, chairs, laundry detergent and in-room washer and dryer, a full kitchen with dishwasher. Bali Hai Villas is our home in Kauai. It's consistent, clean, staff are friendly. We love it. Air conditioning works. Bathrooms are nice sizes. Beds are comfy.
