    Shore’s best adventures. Adjacent to a forested greenbelt just beyond your windows, you’ll feel
    deeply connected to nature. Listen to sounds of the stream below or the songs of the birds
    throughout the day.

    This rental has a unique modern and relaxing atmosphere. The building itself is one of a kind in
    architecture, unlike typical homes in the area. Inside features a local artist gallery showcasing
    more of Kauai’s beauty. This is a special location with beach access nearby, 15-minute walk
    down to the Hanalei Bay and many other beach access spots nearby.

    Step into the spacious and colorful, light-filled upper level, where panoramic windows frame
    cascading waterfalls and the majestic mountains of Hanalei. The upper level includes the living
    room, fully stocked kitchen and outdoor covered Lanai. Slide open the doors to the lanai and let
    the ocean breeze fill the space and carry you into island time. Enjoy your morning coffee while
    checking the surf or catch an unforgettable sunset over Hanalei Bay with distant views of the
    iconic Makana mountain, all without stepping out the door.

    Downstairs are two private bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Main living area and bedrooms
    are connected by a covered breezeway that wraps around a Zen-inspired courtyard.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Home was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Lanai was a great spot to enjoy a meal, read a book or just stare at the fabulous ocean view. Beds were very comfortable! Kitchen well stocked. We often walked the block to Nourish to enjoy a delicious açaí bowl. Beware the roosters however! Nearby Hanalei was a fun place to visit with beaches, food and shops.

We cannot begin to describe how amazing this home is. If you are looking for a zen retreat with the most stunning view of Hanalei Bay sunsets every night, look no further. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay, away from crowds and we found just that in this beautiful home. Super breezy and cool, spacious, clean, and the owners were communicative, friendly, and super accommodating. HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home! Top 3 coolest places we’ve ever stayed anywhere!

Kat was there when we didn’t assistance with the house. Everything went so smoothly.. This is a special house in so many ways, and the location is perfect if you are looking for quiet and yet access to Hanalei and Anni beach..

Our 28 day stay at this special, architect-designed home was everything we hoped for and more. In our experience, it's not often that a vrbo *exceeds* its advertising! Lovely wood inside and out, all well cared for. The screened workout space was perfect. Views from the living areas upstairs are literally 360 degrees from Hanalei Bay to the Napali Cliffs to the waterfalls on more inland mountains. Even the downstairs bedroom showers overlook the jungle stream, all very private. The stream and, often, rain are a constant soft white noise at night which we kinda miss now that we are back home in the snow. We lived on the 2nd floor lanai, watching the waves and sunsets on Hanalei Bay. If we were missing something, Kat or the owner was right there with it. Most days, we walked the quiet nature reserve that's close by, just up Lei O Papa Rd. It's an abandoned disc golf course adjacent to beautiful Makai GC. The broken paved paths are rapidly going back to nature, but aren't muddy after (during!) the warm tropical rains. Foodland is a few minutes' walk away and saved us thousands vs eating out. The Kilauea Phys Ed gym has an affordable month's pass and is a 12 minute drive. This was a breezy, green, beautiful home away from winter. Highly recommend.

The location couldn’t have been better—just outside the busy Princeville area and literally minutes to Hanalei. It felt super private and peaceful but still close to everything we wanted.I stayed here with my two teens and it was perfect for us. The property itself is really unique—definitely not your typical rental. It actually looks better than the photos, which is saying a lot. We spent so much time out on the balcony just staring out at the view. One of my favorite parts was getting a massage in the yoga room with the doors open and the breeze coming in. Total reset.It’s an easy walk to the beach, 1 Hotel, and Nourish Cafe (go there, trust me). The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and absolutely beautiful.There wasn’t a ton of extra stuff like a welcome basket or anything, but there was some beach gear and everything was clean and well taken care of. No issues at all while we were there.This place would be amazing for a small family, a couple, or a few friends. It’s seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed and I’d go back in a second.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is on the most beautiful road and the house is so serene and peaceful. We loved the walk to the beach from this property, it truly was a special place. The host was super communicative and accommodating and definitely hope to be coming back someday!

We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay here! The home and gardens are truly a work of art. The place was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and the kitchen was stocked with essentials like cooking oil, salt, honey and a few spices. The view from every window was incredible - the balcony overlooks the bay at sunset, and the bedrooms and showers overlook the lush forest. Even without air conditioning, the rooms were cool with fans and breeze from open windows. Down the street from a cute little breakfast spot with an amazing view, and easy walk to a golf course and area with shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was great, too. We were so sad to leave but will cherish the quality time and deep relaxation here always!

We’ve been on Kauai for a couple weeks jumping around to different properties on the island and nothing is comparing to this home. Location is perfect for those wishing to explore the North Shore or to just hang around the beautiful Hanalei area. The property itself is truly unique, fun design, but still was fantastic for relaxing. It was fun to have a great kitchen to cook up some of the local treasures we found at farmers markets, waking up watching the sunrise while feeling like you’re sleeping in treetops or sitting on the lanai watching some of the most picturesque sunsets I’ve ever seen…anytime we return to Kauai in the future we’ll look to book this property. Check in and checkout process was seamless and host communicative.

This was a beautiful, unique, and roomy house, full of character. It did not feel like a vacation rental. It was more like a friend with really excellent taste, and the wherewithal to indulge it, had invited us to stay in their home while they were away. The view of sea and mountains from the very comfortable lanai was a daily pleasure. The kitchen had every utensil, dish, pot, pan, and appliance a person could want to make and serve a complex meal. The house was comfortable, and the living area upstairs was especially filled with light. My personal fave may have been the bathroom with a gigantic bright yellow soaking tub overlooking a solid wall of vegetation from gigantic windows. The architecture of the house is unusual and carefully thought out, such that each room has windows on at least two sides, allowing for soft breezes to waft through. And I almost forgot to mention the yoga room, which was simple but lovely. Quirks to be aware of, especially if like us you arrive at night: the house opens onto a courtyard, and there are separate keys for the ground floor rooms (bedrooms, laundry room, and entrance to the stairs up to main living level). We were a little confused at first, but we figured it out! And the house is surrounded by lush nature, so don’t be surprised if a tiny lizard sneaks its way in at some point. Our hostess and house were extremely responsive and kind. Thank you both!

My family, friends, and I were so impressed with this home. The flow and energy really created a space that cultivated such comfort and warmth that I'm bummed I only stayed 8 days. We were located close to a beach within walking distance (15 minutes), a couple of minutes to drive to Foodland and other things, and then 10 minutes to Hanalei. I can't wait to visit again and hopefully stay here. We all rate this place a 10 out of 10!!

This is a treasure! The house has an incredible view of Hanalei Bay from the lanai, and location is perfect. In a neighborhood in Princeville, but not in the condo heavy area. Great walk to a coffee/breakfast truck and short, easy hike to a quiet beach. 10 minute drive to Hanalei Bay. The house is nicely furnished with plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, surf and boogie board, and plenty of kitchen supplies. Clean appliances and we loved having a washer and dryer for beach things. Communication with the owner was always timely and the location feels very private. My new favorite place to stay on the North Shore of Kauai!
