"The hotel is very beautiful and definitely within my definition of a boutique hotel. When you walk in reception area and dining area are updated, but in keeping with the time of the hotel (early 1900's). The staff is extremely friendly and when we checked in we were told that breakfast was homemade in the morning. There are stairs and one elevator (which is extremely slow). Our room was a good size with a window unit for fan and cooling. The rooms didn't necessarily match (paint, style, and decorations) with the rest of the hotel which was disappointing, but the room was clean and had what we needed. The breakfast was indeed homemade. I imagined a bunch of moms in the back baking for everyone. It was really good and I was impressed. They provide a voucher for parking in the lot behind the building and we were about 35 minutes from Glacier. We only stayed 2 nights on our return from Banff, but it was nice. "
