"Florence was a great host! I felt especially safe as a solo traveler at this gated property. Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and attractive. I would recommend travelers to have a vehicle, as it is a bit of a walk to stores or restaurants. There is a bus stop about ten minutes (walking) away but I didn’t have a great experience trying to learn and utilize the bus system. "Our host was very welcoming, adapting his plans to accommodate our late arrival due to a delayed flight. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed three good days exploring Marseille. The bus stop near the apparent was convenient for getting in to the old port quarter and elsewhere. We recommend this property wholeheartedly"

The main street outside/small alley it was in was a little dirty, but since that's more of just a city thing, I have no complaints."

It is very clean and well appointed for a short break. As it is centrally located, in a small street, it is noisy as there are bars and restaurants nearby with people around until very early in the morning.
