"Property was clean and cozy. It was great for my wife and I's first trip to Portland. The property is ideally located in the Hawthorne district with plenty of options for immediate access to food and shops. We loved the real life plants inside the cabin."

"Wonderful, whimsical house. Huge and felt very happy and homelike. We loved exploring all the details of the home and art on display. Extensive kitchen. Located in a cozy and vibrant neighborhood. "

"The guy at the desk was friendly and kind. The room was pretty good, with mini fridge and microwave, great thing to have. The whole property is gated including parking, accessed with your room key so the feeling of safety is superb. Good shower. The biggest issue was the room smell, which I didn’t expect from a non smoking room. However the room didn’t smell like smoke, but it did not good, almost to the point of me wanting to ask to switch rooms. The second issue was the carpet, which felt dirty and had numerous large obvious stains. The manager who escorted me to the room after check in said that the stains were only there because they couldn’t get them out, implying that the carpet was clean but the stains were too tough to remove. I would argue that the stains probably were possible to get out with a lot of elbow grease. Either way if I were management I would replace them rugs entirely. The neither bad nor good was that I booked two nights but I happened to need to leave early. So I went down right at checkout to see if I could get a refund for the second night, which I thought would be okay since I was getting out in time as if I paid for one night, at checkout time. However the manager after looking me up said that it was not refundable because I booked my 2 nights online and he wasn’t able to charge me just for the one night I was there and I couldn’t get a refund. This I don’t exactly hold against the them, yes I could "
