"Stayed one night here and the property was clean, however the inside was a bit run down. Staff at the front counter were very friendly.
I found the rate they charged for the room was high especially considering the condition of the property and the rates offered at other hotels in the area that had more updated rooms for less. They also charged a 4% fee to pay with a credit card which was disappointing. "
"The host was very friendly and nice if I had a question he had an answer the room I booked didn't have a fridge I ask and he gave me one he took care of my ride to the airport. "

"Words cannot describe how much I appreciate this hotel. This was my third stay and 6th room bookings and they were all exceptional. Clean, quiet, great food, Landry room accessible (quick wash only 15 mins), it was all so so good. The breakfast buffet spread is great and the staff are all very nice. I am bilingual so communication was crystal clear, however I recommend that they get more English speaking or bilingual staff. Also very economical. Thank you Royal. "

"My family and I (5 adults) recently stayed at The Royal Haven for 10 nights and 11 days. The property is modern, clean with equipped with new appliances. I especially enjoyed the natural light and the quietness and walkability of the neighborhood. The house is within walking distance to public transportation, a supermarket and farm stand that sells fresh fruits and vegetables. It is also not too far off the main highway and close to a shopping mall. Our host was very easy to reach if we needed her and extremely responsive. She went above and beyond to respond to our needs and was easy to communicate with leading up to our stay. If you are visiting Guyana and are looking for a place to stay away from the hustle and noise of the city, I would recommend The Royal Haven. "

"Property is located away from main road in an area undergoing development so car would be advisable as its long walk to main road for transport links / taxis . It is approx 15mins drive to George Town and Jedda Chaggan Airport is 1.15/30 mins away. The soft furnishings / furniture as seen in photographs is different from that pictured but apartment was very comfortable & clean. However kitchen could be better stocked with everyday kitchen untensils/ ovenware & provide the use of an ironing board in replace of the current set up they have. Host also provided a stocked the fridge with Breakfast options: pancakes, oats, eggs, milk, cereal & bottled water - which is included in the rental fee.
As an international traveller I did not have access to telecommunications to make local calls so felt isolated in not being able to call for Taxis or arrange food order deliveries so a suggestion would be for the Host to provide a 'basic' mobile handset where renters can purchase Pay as Go credits/ top up cards for for their own use.
Overall I had a pleasant stay and found the host to be very professional responsive to my queries.
