"My husband and I just returned home after a wondering week long trip to Ireland. I want to share a 5 star review of The Lake Hotel in Killarney! Wow did they impress us! It was absolutely worth splurging slightly for a room. The view from our room was spectacular, the restaurant served the best food and cocktails we had the whole trip, and the staff/service was unmatched. We felt like royalty! When we shared that it was our honeymoon, the surprised us with chocolates and a print waiting on our bed! If you’re staying in Killarney, i would highly recommend the Lake Hotel!"

"Super clean and aesthetically pleasing hotel! Everything is beautiful and carefully thought out. The room itself is a tad bit small but still works! The AC didn’t go below 18c and barely would blow during the heatwave Ireland was having and the drain in the shower wouldn’t drain so you stood in water. Other than that I would still recommend this hotel!"

"So convenient for returning my rental car at Shannon Airport and then just walk across the street to catch my flight the next morning. The restaurant was convenient too. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and close to air transport. The staff was fantastic, so helpful! My traveling companion had a flight canceled at the last minute, with no notice or assistance from Aer Lingus to make her connection in Paris for a flight to Bogota later that afternoon, so a hotel manager, Ashley (sp.?) sprang into action to press the airline to assist and make alternative arrangements: a taxi to Limerick after midnight to catch a bus to Dublin airport, then a flight from Dublin that arrived in Paris in time to make the Bogota flight. A lot of connections overnight and through the next morning, but the help was invaluable!"

"Dirty old room, not updated at all. Filthy what should be white curtains, stains all over carpet, greasy finger prints all over kettle. No a/c or fan so windows had to be kept open, noisy street below. They put the drinking glasses on back of toilet! Worst hotel of Ireland trip so far. Horribly uncomfortable beds and pillows. I’m"
