Great location... that's it.

The location of this property is great, and if someone else purchases it, I'm certain this could be an excellent place to stay. It's current condition is a filthy carpet that runs throughout the living, bedroom, and entryway. A small, dirty, a/c unit that requires assistance with a fan - all plugged into the same extension cord as as the TV, as most of the outlets don't work. Two of the outlets in the bedroom work, but you'll need to run a fan in there as well as it's incredibly hot up there. We came in a bit early to drop our things and it had yet to be cleaned. In the time between when we left and came back, it wasn't humanly possible to do more than change linens. There is no way any cleaning happened. The shower curtain and liner were both pink at the bottom. We were given two bath towels, two hand towels, and two wash cloths for our four day stay. If you're looking for the "lockbox" that is supposedly holding your key, it's not one of the outside boxes. The combination lock is on the door at the top of the steep stairs, (covered by another disgusting carpet,) that lead to your room. Until this place has some not so drastic renovations, I would spend your $2,000 for four days after fees and taxes somewhere else.

Provincetown vqcation

The rental was in the perfect location. I don't think I would stay there peak season as it would be too noisy. Off season is just fine. The carpets in the place are filthy and some of the screens are missing in the windows. It would have been nice to open the windows and get fresh air. Aside from that, the place was great!

Prime Rental Location

For anyone looking to be smacked dab in the center of Provincetown, this rental was perfect! Right above the candy shop, our visit was made easier getting about town, but also allowed us to sneak back to the apartment when needed. It can be noisier at certain times of the day but nothing you shouldn't expect from visiting to begin with. We were so happy we chose this rental and would absolutely considered it again next time!

While the space had been cleaned, the entire carpet was the most disgusting I’ve ever seen. Grayish black nasty stains of God only knows what. The bathroom was clean (or as clean as I suppose it could get), but the pictures were not accurate at all. The shower is so tiny, it’s impossible to shave your legs. And, none of the lights worked the first two days! It was pitch dark in there and quite a difficult feat putting on makeup. Somehow they got turned back on but no one told us, I just happened to try the switch on our third day (don’t ask me why but I’m glad I did!). There’s a teeny tiny window AC unit that’s not even properly installed—there’s a gap and you can see straight outside. Hot air was blowing through it. And the blinds don’t close all the way so the sun was beating into the living room. There’s no AC in the bedroom, so no matter how high the AC was on, the bedroom was so hot, our sleep sucked. I’m sure I’m forgetting other issues but these are the biggies.

It was a tenement

The location is central, what they don’t tell you is that a street musician sets up outside the door with a mic and speaker and sings and the crowd sings with him. The carpet is filthy, the furniture is yard sale finds and the bathroom is horrible. The tiny toilet faces the wall and your knees hit the wall when you sit down. (I’m 5’8”). The single Window AC unit does not cool off the place and the bedroom is warm.

Wonderful experience

This is such a cute place to stay off season. We enjoyed our stay so much! The only down side is a small bathroom, but everything else was superb!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was very clean when we got there. Our only issuewas having to wait until 4 PM to check in. That was very inconvenient. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and loved being able to sit in the living room and look out the window onto Commercial and watch the people go by.

That location was perfect, right and center of town and very convenient to everything. The place needs significant improvements and updates such as… Carpet was filthy and. Toilet was too small and too close to the wall. It was very uncomfortable to use.

loud noisy unit that had a flood before i arrived.

I love Provincetown but my unit was so very loud..morning noon and night that i would not recommend this space to anyone. Street performers positioned themselves right in front of the bldg and were creating a racket until 11pm sometimes 12 midnight.Nevermind that Vacasa forgot to tell me of a flood the unit had 2 days before i arrived so that the space had a very musty odor and a very sticky carpet. I will leave it at that.

Poor communication and cleanliness; excellent location

Upon arrival, directions on parking were confusing and took us some time figuring out (only available parking is paid and a good distance from the place). When we entered the apartment, we noticed obvious stains on the countertop that could be cleaned as well as crumbs on the floor. Our AC did not work and when we contacted Vacasa, we talked with 4 people before having any issues resolved. When they were, we had to let housekeeping in during our dinner as they could not find the key. We never heard anything about our AC and it was never fixed during our stay. We talked with Jared who told us he would refund us our cleaning fee but after trying to contact him again regarding this issue we never heard from him. The customer service from Vacasa during our stay was incomplete and impersonal. The description of the apartment lists a dishwasher, however there is not one in the apartment. It also lists netflix, however you would have to sign into your own account. There were a few other minor issues we encountered during our stay. However, the location of this apartment is wonderful and right in the center of all the fun Ptown has to offer!

Noisy, no working cool AC, constant disturbances

This apartment is right on the Main Street of partying every night until the early morning hours. Also, the trash truck comes through after things have gotten quiet(4 AM) and the street sweeper. There is no working air conditioner or fans in the bedroom, so we were forced to leave windows up and half of them don’t have screens. Also, we couldn't sleep well for being too hot, even with the windows up due to the noise and disturbance. We were very tired and did not get much rest on our vacation. We had booked four nights, but could only make it two. We just decided it was worth getting rest to lose the money for the last two nights. No offer for a refund or credit was made after speaking to customer service and the property management contact. If you want to visit Provincetown, I recommend you stay 'off the beaten path'!
