I make sure to visit once a year. Whale watches are outstanding. Many places to stay with reasonable prices as well as those on the high end. Beautiful scenery. Great shopping and walkable. Park once and spend the day exploring galleries & shops.

I've been going to P-town since I was a kid and never tire of visiting there and just taking in all of the natural beauty and local culture. It is both a unique place and great little town.

"Loved the staff, pool area, and beach view. Such a great place. If there was one spot that could be improved, it’s the pillows! They were flat and light. "
"AWOL truly feels like a hidden gem! My birthday stay was absolutely wonderful—just a short stroll from downtown, yet perfectly tucked away for peace and quiet. The property offers breathtaking views and charming grounds, with thoughtful details like a s’mores bar and a delicious, fresh breakfast each morning. The staff, especially Sawyer, Brandon, and Andrew, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. Complimentary coffee, tea, breakfast, and treats like s’mores made my visit feel extra special. The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable—if you can, choose a ground floor room for an expansive patio and stunning bay views! I loved that AWOL is about a 20-25 minute walk to the downtown area—it gave the hotel a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, especially in the evenings beneath the stars. Being next to the National Seashore is a huge plus, and the free bikes provided by AWOL are perfect for exploring the surroundings. Thank you to the entire AWOL team for an incredible stay and an experience I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to return!
