Crowne Pointe Historic Inn & Spa - Adults Only

Crowne Pointe Historic Inn & Spa - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent
"We arrived to friendly staff who checked us in and escorted us (luggage in hand!) to a clean room. Staff was helpful in navigating the town and beaches, the included breakfast was delicious, efficient, and no-nonsense. We didn’t make it to the restaurant for dinner (too much to see and do!) but it appeared to be more of the same. The spa was fabulous. The gentlemen who administered our couples massage were professional and effective while keeping things fun and light. The pool and hot tub as well as the grounds were clean and well maintained. Thoughtful details at every turn, including afternoon frozen drinks by the pool! If the question is “do you want a pina colada” the answer is ALWAYS yes. If the follow up is “do you want a rum float” the answer is USUALLY yes. Thanks again, Crowne Pointe!"

Sandcastle Resort and Club

10/10 Excellent
"The Sandcastle has become my annual Cape destination. I’ve stayed here at least 6 yrs in a row. While it’s not a “luxury” hotel, it’s always clean and bright. The buildings are older and they seem to be continually working on updating the units. We usually get a queen suite. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has what you need to prepare meals in the unit. (Note, though, that while the beds are comfy, some of the sofa beds and Murphy beds in the smaller rooms, in my experience, are not. It’s been about 3 yrs since I’ve slept on those, so it’s possible the mattresses could have been upgraded.) You can’t beat the location. The beach is on the bayside and there’s a lot of seaweed, but that seems to be an ongoing issue with any of the bay beaches. Low tide uncovers lots of sandbars and tide pools, great for long walks and shell, rock and sea glass hunting. There’s a free shuttle that goes into town every 30 min (also goes to Truro vineyard, some of the beaches and other locations). The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of great restaurants nearby, too. You can catch beautiful sunsets there, but a quick drive to Race Point or Herring Cove allows you to watch the sun dip below the horizon for some of the most beautiful, vibrant sunsets you’ll ever see. I have no hesitation in recommending the Sandcastle for your next Cape Cod visit."

8/10 Good
"Pool was closed for maintenance reasons but this stuff should be disclosed at booking. Other than that very good. Beautiful beach to sit on in the evening just across the road. Free shuttles to downtown. Room could have better closet / storage space. But we would stay again. Grab Brothers played the afternoon we were there and they were awesome. Hope to see them at another gig soon"

"We stayed on the ocean side. All we had to do is walk downstairs and Atlantic was right there. Quite amazing. The rooms are clean. The swimming pool is great but they should insist that kids stay on the shallow end; there was no way to swim because kids kept jumping in on the deep end. The parking is right next to the place, which is super helpful. Overall, a nice place and a pleasant stay"
