We stayed in the Eagle’s Nest. It is a unique space that is a vacation experience itself. It would even be a unique staycation destination.

What a delightful place to spend an evening. The room was tastefully decorated and clean. It came with a shower and soaking tub, as well as a very comfortable king bed. The grounds were well maintained and the kitchen was perfect for a fast breakfast. There was private parking and best of all, you are only a few blocks from several restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again. The breakfast is coffee and a nice selection of multi-grain bars or doughnuts -- but perfectly adequate.

This place gives a an old history type feel. The large jet tub was excellent. The bed was excellent. You can free range without being interrupted by staff.

No shower or breakfast.

Booked it thinking it was a Bed & Breakfast based on what I read on hotels.com but they no longer offer breakfast. There isn’t a shower here, just a tub with a hand wand. The lack of a served breakfast and a proper shower diminished the value proposition over choosing a hotel.

Fun Place!

It was a cozy little bed and breakfast! We loved it, it was local, and a nice tub, and is right in downtown Provo, so it was close to lots of fun stuff.

A great place to stay!

Check-in was easy and very welcoming. The lodge room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, and enjoyed conversing with the chef. Highly recommend making reservations with the Hines Mansion.

Anniversary

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was wonderful. Our room was great and they had an excellent breakfast for us the next morning. Very friendly people working there as well, we had a nice chat with them during breakfast. We would stay there again if we're in the area.

Out of the ordinary

Great stay at a nice and cozy BB in Provo, UT!! The host, Sharon, was extremely accommodating and took very good care of us. The room was very clean and tidy. A unique place to stay outside of the "normal" hotel. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and homemade. Highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future if I make it back to Provo.

Cutest “mansion” ever. It is a throw back to the 1800s, and the Secret Garden room (my room) transported me to that period. Not everything is perfect but totally doable. The cuteness factor of the Hines Mansion is off the chart. It has an under the stairway Harry Potter room (don’t think it’s a real room, however), and there’s a gargoyle on top of the building, guarding it.

A lovely site but this room was a bit less than what we had enjoyed previuosly. It would be nice if the entry to this room was spruced up a bit (an old bed frame was leaned up against the wall near our door; entry was made by going past the Inn's row of trashcans). Staff was attentive to our needs and made adjustments for us when it was needed.

Great staff. This was our first trip here. The room we got was gorgeous but had stairs and i have limited mobility. They were able give us another room. To my amazment the new room was as pretty as the first. And with no stairs made my trip perfect. The staff went above and beyond. The food was great. The bed perfect .. it was so nice to feel "taken care of".

Room was mediocore, stay was amazing

The parking lot was small. The room we stayed in ((Kitty Hines) looked to be the smallest, which is really my own fault in booking it, but there was little to no room to move around the room in. It was advertised as a queen, and I'm fairly confident that it wasn't (maybe a full/double?) The room had a tiny TV and not in a good spot (not sure that could be fixed though). There were some renovations happening which dampens the experience a little. Aside from those few things, the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The host was great. The rooms are cool looking. Wife loved it and wants to come back. Just probably not in the same room...

The epitome of false advertising! We found this place through a search for bed and breakfast in Utah. Booked it through Hotels.com. The morning of check in we get a welcome text that half way through it advises us “As a reminder If you haven’t seen on our website we are not doing breakfast right now but ….:” What the h@&$!!! A bed and breakfast with no breakfast! Since we needed a place to stay and like the old mansions of the area we figured we go ahead and stay there. BAD DECISION!! While the house was sort of cool, we were led to an outside entrance that removed us from the possible charm of the mansion and received no “tour” typical of other mansion B&Bs we’ve stayed at. The room it self was nothing spectacular, the bed was fairly comfortable. As for the location, all night long we were awakened by ambulances, fire trucks, police oh yeah it’s near train tracks so we got to hear the LOUD train horns through the night. SAVE YOUR MONEY and get a hotel some where else.

The mansion was kinda cool and interesting with history behind it. The down stairs area looks like a restaurant with stone tables and is beautiful and you can see into and walk around the kitchen. Which makes you think the breakfast part of the b&b is going to be the best part, but we couldn't find anything in the itinerary about breakfast or instruction. We had no contact with anyone except a phone call telling us our keys were on the front desk, also the entire time we were there we never saw another person employee or guests. The breakfast ended up being a brown paper bag with a juice, muffins, apple, and granola bar in the fridge with no note or instruction. I felt like I was doing something wrong by taking it.
