"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. Let me be clear, the AC did not work AT ALL and when we returned it was hotter in the room than outside at 9pm. Couldn't open the windows or doors because the of the mosquitoes. "This is one of the best properties in the city. The bathroom was the best I saw while visiting the other shops/businesses. The staff is great; they provide a home cooked breakfast everyday and it is a spread for only one person cooking it! Your AC works great, only the room is AC. The bathroom is open air. There is no elevator and the the rooms are either on the 2nd floor or 3rd floor FYI. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Galapagos. This place offered great luxury and enhanced our stay in the islands."

"What a wonderful hotel! It is a very central location and 5 mins walk to the pier - so easy to get to your day trip meeting points quickly. It is also located between 2 delicious restaurants. The staff is nice, friendly, and accommodating. The front desk staff offered great suggestions on where to eat, ordered taxis for us, and provided clean beach towels. The breakfast is a perfect start to the day - just $8 per person. Our junior suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is a mini fridge in the room and a wonderful balcony with a patio table. Highly recommend this place to all travelers."

"I highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean and staff is very friendly. The air conditioning worked great and we were very comfortable in our rooms. The rooftop restaurant is very good and is very scenic. We had breakfast there and wished we would have had dinner there too. Good location. Highly recommend."
