"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. "I’ve stayed here before and I will be back in the future. The condos are beautiful and very large and the neighborhood is so peaceful. I love to walk around the area and see monkeys in the trees. My mini economy rental car had no trouble getting there in the heavy rain, which is rare in Costa Rica. Thanks for the great stay!"

"Casa Iscaja is magical! It is beautiful, so well kept and has everything you would need for a relaxing getaway. The onsite staff was wonderful. We enjoyed a home cooked breakfast every morning. What a treat! The weather didn’t cooperate for part of our stay and both the onsite house staff and owners were so kind to compensate us with a complimentary dinner. There were many fun local activities. Our favorites were surf lessons and an ATV tour through the jungle. We traveled with our 2 teenage sons and highly recommend this home and Puerto Carrillo!"
