"Excellent value - very clean, comfortable and friendly, with all facilities you could need. It is a walk from the main town centre, and the hill is steep, so need to be mobile, or happy to use taxis. But the walk is worth it as the location is peaceful. Reception area and stairs are all stone/marble so noise does travel - especially to ground floor rooms. And walls are thin too, so occasional interrupted sleep. Nothing too dramatic though. But with good facilities, clean rooms, attentive staff, lovely roof sun terrace and a pool the Don Candido is excellent value for money and would definitely choose again."

"The hotel is in a good position and the staff are friendly. However there isn't a lot of space around the pool and there isn't much atmosphere in the bar or general areas. Charging €15 per day to park and €4 for use of a room safe is excessive "
