"Great views and bird watching. Clean. Nice rural area and secure parking. Nice garden with fruit trees. I had a fresh pomegranate. Great place to see stars. Road and airport noise. Best to keep windows closed at night. Should verify all things are working before renter arrives. I shouldn’t have to fix the door or change the gas for the stove on first use. I was tired and hungry and am not familiar with gas."

"Pros: Aunque en un primer momento el acceso te pueda parecer incómodo , luego se convierte en la magia del lugar, unas vistas de ensueño y un enclave especial. Un sitio con muy buen gusto y mucho trabajo, cuidado al detalle por su gran anfitriona, Hélène, una persona que se entrega al completo para que tú estancia sea un 10 y te sientas como en casa, alguien especial. "Pros: Dat het huisje zo gezellig was, knus, met allemaal leuk ingerichte kamers en meerdere terrasjes en zitplekjes. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuke dorpen als Puerto de la Cruz en Icod de los Vinos op 10 minuten rijden. Je zit midden in de natuur, je hoort de vogeltjes fluiten en in de tuin zie je af en toe een hagedis wegschieten. Ontzettend leuk! Absolute aanrader! De host is superaardig! Hij neemt de tijd om ons bij aankomst uitleg te geven over het huisje, is heel behulpzaam, bv met tips...

"The property is fully fitted out as a holiday home. Everything apart from a washing machine. Beautiful garden and vista towards the coast and mountains. Getting to the home is challenging, very steep single track roads some very narrow and off road. Our small hire car found it challenging. Take the wrong route and you can easily get lost. Some routes too steep for my car. Some clear maps would really help. "

"Room was clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was very big, but could do with update, bath/shower area in particular. We still enjoy our stay very much. Food was excellent, staff ever so friendly and helpful. Striking views from everywhere in the hotel - room balcony, pool area and dining room! We would stay again. Thank you!"

"Really enjoyed my stay here overall. The staff were lovely, friendly and very accommodating throughout. They were especially helpful when I got stuck in a random Tenerife and couldn’t get an Uber. I asked reception for help and they happily called a taxi for me, which arrived within about 10 minutes. Really appreciated that. Breakfast was brilliant with loads of choice, and the spa was also a big plus. I had a deep tissue massage which was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. A couple of small negatives though. The hotel could really do with better signage. It was surprisingly difficult to find certain things, especially when you first arrive. There didn’t seem to be any signs showing where breakfast was, and I also struggled to work out how to get to places like the sauna. The air conditioning in my room also could have been better. I had it set to 18°C, but it definitely didn’t feel like 18°C in the room. There was a ceiling fan too, but I couldn’t get that to work, so the room was warmer than I would have liked. Food at the hotel was also quite expensive. I paid around €39 for patatas bravas and six croquettes, which felt pretty steep for what it was. That said, the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The staff were outstanding, breakfast was great and I really enjoyed the spa. I’d happily stay again, but better signage, stronger air conditioning and slightly more reasonable food prices would improve things a lot."

"The hotel its self is of a high standard with all facilitates needed in order to have the complete city break. The roof top pool and lounge areas although small were well kept and not too crowded at the time of our visit but you can say if there where a few more people there space would be at a premium. Underground parking is tight but plenty of spaces at affordable rates, The rooms we stayed in was dated but generally clean to a basic level, The hotel did contribute to what was an amazing time spent travelling around the island so a solid 7/10 overall."
