The staff at this hotel definitely went out of their way to make sure I had a good time especially a gentleman name Renato ! The housekeeping staff were excellent and always making sure you didn't need anything cleaned or any towels !

Customer service at this hotel was exceptional, and the rooms were very clean. I was disappointed with the hotel pool, it was dirty and murky during our entire stay (two nights), and the pool shower was out of service. The hot water in our hotel room was inconsistent. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is relatively close and within walking distance to the beach. The parking area is a bit narrow. There are no elevators so if you are like us and traveling with an elderly person perhaps contact them before making any reservation or you may be stuck on the 5th floor.

The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, which made our stay more pleasant. However, the comfort of the rooms left much to be desired. The mattresses were too soft and saggy, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, and the pillows were extremely hard. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was insufficient, making it difficult to bathe. If these aspects were improved, the hotel experience would be much better.

I loved being able to get a lounge by the pool. Disappointed that our kitchen had no cutlery, dishes ,pots n pans, or dish soap or cloths. Also hot plate not activated unless we paid another 500 Pesos per day. So we could do no cooking. Also coffee machine was great but no cups or a few pods for our first morning before able to buy

This was our third stay in 12 months. The hotel is perfect to relax. The staff are excellent. The reception staff were very welcoming with an excellent demeanour. Even though English is not their primary language they tried their best to.help you. The restaurant staff were very good , Renato at the breakfast and the mid day bar was amazing and he speaks excellent English and helped us with a billing problem. Emilio in the night bar and restaurant was a true gentleman however he does not speak English but with our ability to speak and understand Spanish,,,somewhat !!! we managed. Do yourself a favour and if you are going to Puerto Escondido stay here you will not be disappointed. We certainly were not and will be back soon

The staff was very friendly. This is an older property with lots of pretty trees and foliage .The pool area was very pretty and well maintained. There is no hot water in the shower !! Although we had a 2 bedroom w kitchenette, the stove is locked except for rentals of one month or more.There is no coffee pot or means to make coffee. you must buy coffee at the restaurant on site. The location itself is not convenient or near anything except the airport. There is a small beach about 5 blocks away that you can walk to. You pay 50 pesos to access it through another hotel . it is a short, steep path to the beach past another hotel that might be abandoned ecxept for the pool. The villasol has a beach club somewhere. But it was 1000 pesos per person per day. That seemed like alot so we passed on that option. We considered returning to this hotel on our way back from Bahia de Tungalunda but ended up staying in Zicatela- a ton of great restaruants and little shops everywhere.. If you have just a one night layover and don't intend to go sightsee. This hotel is fine.
