Was here for 6 days and had no complaints other than the Mediterranean a la carte, it was old food and the restaurant was dirty. However, every other restaurant was excellent! Italian was my personal favourite. The resort was very clean, ALL staff were absolutely awesome and friendly. Rooms were great, ac worked and had a nice ocean view. Roof top pool and bar was definitely the spot to be! Would definitely go back and recommend to others

This was our 2nd year in a row visiting Puerto Vallarta to celebrate our wedding Anniversary (last year at the RIU, which was better) and our 2nd Crown Paradise Visit (last 2 years ago in Cancun, which was better than the RIU) So we were expecting a great stay but was disappointed. First the extreme highlight and what saved this trip to manage 3 stars was our Primary Concierge Ulises (who is a 5 star concierge (also shout out to Enrique who oriented us at check in and helped when we has a problem with our initial room) So the trip… as you and the hotel knew we were there to celebrate our 13th anniversary and the oceanfront deluxe King Room we were given was ground floor with the Beach Bar literally right

Staff was charming and helpful (thank you to Carlos). Food was okay but limited choice. The pools and beach bar areas were very noisy, which you might enjoy if you like party music. Reasonable vacation for the cost.

The staff were awesome. The food was not great. The lunch places were not open until 1:00 pm. Isn't noon lunch time?? I think it was to push the hotdogs/burgers/fries at the poolside lunch bars. The ala carts were hit and miss, mostly miss. Sure noticed not enough staffing for some places to be open. Bit run down since I was there 1 1/2 years ago. All in all I would give it a 7 out of 10.

We loved the full ocean view that we had requested. We loved the beach, and the ocean was always safe for swimming. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. The property is not appealing in any way. People were allowed to walk by the dining room practically naked with their see through coverups. The resort needs a makeover. We didn’t like the layout of the property, sun beds too close together, loud music, no English speaking TV channels, food in specialty restaurants inedible. We had to change rooms twice due to sewer backup, with no apologies. We did end up on a room that we liked, however. Management needs to see that rooms are in perfect working order before accepting bookings. The first bathroom door was very loudly squeaking with every move. One of the numbers on the safe was worn out. Towel bars and hooks need to be installed in the bathrooms. Despite all that we did enjoy our stay due to the view, the beach, the swimmable ocean, the friendly staff. We took taxis and buses into town almost daily.

I was told that I would have a Ocean facing or Ocean View when I booked resort. I returned to front desk and explained this the woman (different from the one who checked us in) got negative and told me to prove it. I explained to her and looked at my itinerary but it didn't show either way. She said she would find another room the next day but she never did. She was a work because I saw her there the next day and beyond. The room was overlooking the parking lot and had a VERY LOUD EXHAUST FAN just below the balcony. Overall the stay was OK. I will say almost all the staff was excellent. The pool restrooms smelled and dirty. The room we where in was tired looking. They need to have a Map of the grounds to show things like pool, ATM, SPA, GYM, COFFEE etc location. It seemed to have everything but not clearly marked and a Map would help. All in all ok

Do not stay in the old building, there was issues with the sewer the first night that almost made us leave. However they moved us to the new building and it was much nicer. It takes a few days to figure out where all the amenities are. Buffet was not very good but the restaurants were great. Very limited shade and seating around pools and beach. On the very last evening of being there my room was so hot and uncomfortable. The water pressure was trash and to make all of this worst, someone had to come into our room while we left the resort for dinner and take money out of my husband's bag.

I like that it is adult only. The beach is well maintained and clean like the entire facility. I didn't like that they allow the beach vendors onto the property.

The hotel itself is nice. The pool on the 7th floor has a nice view, they have a gym, tennis courts and vball. The food was not great. Buffet food was always cold. The breakfast was okay as you can at least get a hot omelette and bacon. The all inclusive option was not worth the price, maybe the breakfast option but that’s all. We didn’t try the restaurants as we ate out for dinner every night. The meat in the buffet was also very salty. The snack bar was hit or miss. The staff was great. The rooms were fine and bed was nice and firm. It is also about a 20 min bus ride to el centro, it would have been nice to stay closer to el centro. Overall, the hotel was fine but food needs improvement.

This resort was better than I could have hoped for! It had everything you could need and if you went hungry it’s your own fault! The food was so good!!! You have to try all the options because all restaurants and buffets were so good! The staff was wonderful and friendly! Cannot wait to come back!

The check in was smooth but we didn’t have any help with our luggages. We didn’t enjoy our all inclusive because the restaurants were always booked & the liquor was very bottom shelf. They had a poor selection of tequila for a all inclusive resort in Mexico.

We have stayed at Crown Paradise Golden several times, and this time did not disappoint. The staff was amazing as always, food is the specialty restaurants was excellent. Our room was very clean. Thank you, Yolanda. Shout out to Daniel the best Bell man in the business for all the extra assistance. Bartenders made yummy drinks. We were able to walk to so many things. Will definitely continue to come back!!!

The sky pool was cool however the pool was freezing cold, the drinks were weak and the food the whole week was nasty. We booked an ocean view with an updated room however did not receive that, instead we were left with a dated room with a ceiling fan dangling by the wires. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and would often make loud screeching noises. My boyfriend and I ended up leaving the resort every night for dinner. We would not recommend the food here. We will not be coming back to this resort.
