Took a stroll to the beach...
Puerto Vallarta has many different beaches, and while my favorites for swimming happen to be on the southside of the bay in Punta Negra & Mismaloya, the beach in the Marina is perfect. There is public access along side the bayview grand complex and a nice long walk down to the Westin. At high tide there are some areas where you may get your feet wet though! If you find yourself heading the opposite direction (perhaps for a sea turtle release) on the beach during the rainy reason be sure to keep your eye out for crocodiles! #lifeatexpedia

We have visited this Westin in PV many times. They have made many changes recently and are clearly upgrading for impending all inclusive status. The upgrades were very needed. The check in desk staff seemed much more mature and professional. The resort staff were congenital and friendly as always. ...

Rooms were clean, beach was great, food was good! Everyone was nice except for one very negative encounter with a buffet staff who spoke to my boyfriend in a very demeaning matter after an issue had already been dealt with, with another staff member.
