"Location is nice and convenient, close to ocean and national park. Issues we had (and hence 3 stars) are: rooms are very dark, very dim lighting, showers had no hot water half the time and when there was hot water then pressure in shower was very weak, dribble. Breakfast was good and nature all around. "

"Wonderful location and accommodations for our group of 7! The property is located only 2 blocks from the entrance to Parc Cahuita beach but the gardens and landscaping screen all the surrounding properties and you have total privacy. We sat in the open living room and watched monkeys, beautiful birds and agouti play in the garden. The largest grocery store and all of the restaurants and bars of Cahuita were steps away. You are easy walking distance both to Parc Cahuita but also Playa Negra. The kitchen was well stocked (including Tupperware!) and there were large tables for dining and playing games during the rain. Leslie the host was exceptional in terms of answering questions, arranging transport from the airport and generally making our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend both for location and property itself."

"This was our 4th house on our tour through Costa Rica and our favourite! The house was clean and fully equipped. Poll was beautiful and full privacy. We were able to see monkeys and sloths right in the yard! Exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend. "

"Our stay in the treehouse was absolutely one of a kind!What a truly unique experience in the jungle. We loved waking up each morning to the howler monkeys putting on their show right in front of us in the trees. We watched a sloth for several days as well as did some hiking. The fresh fruit that Tom and Hadas left for us was such a thoughtful touch. Tom met us the night we arrived and was so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed throughout our stay. The outdoor shower was fantastic, and the second-floor hammock was the perfect spot to relax and read a book.Thank you, Tom and Hadas, for an unforgettable six days in the jungle!"

"The rooms are beautiful, the wildlife abundant and the host, Jessica, was very helpful at answering questions and providing recommendations and she cooked a wonderful breakfast! I really loved the natural pool, and there were several great tours offered by a local guide, Rodolfo. The only comment I would make was my concern over a couple of domestic cats that were allowed outside on the property. I intercepted one of them hunting birds and lizards a few times. I understand it is somewhat socially acceptable in Costa Rica to let domestic cats roam, but from a North American perspective it's generally not acceptable as they are responsible for millions of bird deaths annually. If the cats are going to be outside I would hope they could get collars with bells on them to reduce wildlife mortality because otherwise everything about this resort is very ecologically focused. This one thing just didn't fit with that vibe. "
