"What a beautiful auberge away from the hustle of Nice. Gorgeous gardens to relax in (when it’s not raining!!) and such lovely kind staff especially Marie. Dinner was absolutely top notch, no wonder booking is advised and so many locals were eating there even on a Tuesday night. Very comfortable bed and brilliant continental breakfast with perfect breads and excellent coffee. Definitely a go to now when embarking or disembarking a cruise at Nice accepting you are 30 minutes from town but only...

"Expedia confirmed our booking. When we arrived the hotel was closed and when we called someone picked up and hung up on us. Be mindful that the last 15 km are on a dangerous mountain road without guardrail and any ability to pass any other car most of the time. Safe yourself a headache and skip this horrible experience."

"These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday...
