"Hotel has great potential, but is very poorly managed. This is a very expensive hotel and does not provide a service in line with what is charged. The beach is gourgeous, but full with plastic waste that comes from the sea. All neighboring hotels and restaurants clean their beaches, this one does not. "Ocean view villa had a spectacular view of the ocean. Even with the beach just steps away, we rarely felt the need to leave our comfy balcony because of the view. It's better than the pictures show. Staff was good and responsive, but wifi/internet was poor and didn't really work except in one small corner of the room. But because of the location, it was nice to "unplug" for the weekend. The food was expensive, but above average quality (even compared to other 5 star spots in Tulum), and every meal we had for breakfast/lunch/dinner was good. Griselda from housekeeping was amazing and friendly and brought us new towel animals every day! "
