Punta de Canoa Holidays

The room was beautiful and very spacious. The only thing is I found a dead bug in the bed on the first day. Also they were very strict in terms of guests. I was not able to even let my friend upstairs to grab something without paying an additional fee, mind you after I already paid $1000+ for the room. Also due to an issue with the expedia reservation that I made for THREE adults, on the hotels end it only showed a reservation for one. I was then forced to pay an additional fee to have my other guest on my trip to stay in the hotel. It felt like I was being scammed out of more money. Other than those hiccups, the staff was amazing and so accommodating. They were so kind and helpful. The free breakfast was amazing every morning and the restaurant on the 5th floor was 10/10. I loved it! I just wish they were not so strict and money hungry.

Impeccable service from the front desk to the wait staff. Beautiful grounds in a perfect location. A must visit.

No dinning and/or entertainment options after 7 pm. Good for family with small children only.

The place was beautiful and very well located. However, the entire property was dark, the hallways and stairs were dangerous without proper illumination. The hotel tries to create ambiance with the candlelight illumination but it is dangerous when you circulate and need to go up or down stairs. And the whole feeling is like being in a cloister, long dark, quiet corridors. Also the pool while beautiful and well kept is unusable as it sits right in front of the dining area.
