  • Summary:
    We have finally re-opened!

    After 2 hurricanes in 2024, we have completely renovated every unit.

    Everything is new again in this 1955 Historic Inn on Charlotte Harbor.

    The units are a cozy 325 sq. ft. with a living area, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, and a full kitchenette.

    The Sunset Inn is located on Bayshore Rd in Charlotte Harbor, walking distance to the new Sunseeker Resort.

    The sunsets are stunning!

We loved staying here. The cottages are compact, but very clean and have everything you need. The outdoor seating area was nice, too!

Sunset Inn Port Charlotte

Nice remodel, you thought about the little things. I thought the space was pretty tight for the two of us. No end tables in bedroom to put down your coffee, book or reading glasses. Sofa is too small and uncomfortable. Tiny room with large tv. Pretty pricey compared to other spaces I’ve rented.

This is going to be a short review because we liked everything about it. We never seen one bug in our room, loved the pier and to be able to do our laundry on site at no cost ( machines, detergent or fabric softener ) was awesome. we highly recommend this place and we will definitely be going back. Again, perfect little condo!

I stayed at Sunset Inn again because it’s perfect for my needs. It’s so clean and modern and has all the essentials to cook a meal. The bed is really comfortable with an extra blanket as needed. The remote control works like a charm for climate control. A nice walking pier is steps away. Communication with the manager by e-mail, text, or phone is fast and easy. I did communicate a couple of small maintenance issues this morning and he said he would jump right on it. I feel safe in the area and love having this complex as a home away from home when I visit relatives in the area.
