Happy hour never felt like an afterthought, but rather a daily highlight. Service throughout the property was excellent, with special recognition owed to John, whose attentiveness, warmth, and deep local knowledge elevated the entire stay. His recommendations around the town of Máncora—from dining spots to nightlife—were spot-on and added a meaningful layer of authenticity to the experience. Brian also deserves mention for his consistently great service at both meals and poolside. The pool area embodies the relaxed sophistication Qema aims for: ample shaded loungers, a laid-back atmosphere, and perfectly curated chill-vibe music that sets the tone for effortless afternoons by the water. One important consideration for travelers is that nightlife is very much part of the Qema experience. Music carries clearly into the evening, often well past 10:"

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Romana. The hotel is beautiful. Decorated with great taste. You feel immersed in nature. A very special place surrounded by flowers and a peaceful environment. We saw the famous Sechuran foxes five times. Our bungalow was very nice. The infinity pool extraordinary. Staff is great. You have to take the hotel shuttle to go to the beach but it is worth it. The ideal combination is to rent a car when you arrive at the airport so you can enjoy a magnificent stay at Villa Romana and explore beaches nearby including Punta Sal and Mancora. Loved our stay. Highly recommend it."
