"Such a clean, peaceful getaway! We grilled, fished, kayaked, played games, and enjoyed all the wildlife—we saw deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, turtles, and even a snake! My husband and son especially loved the fishing!It does sleep 10, but the loft is a little steep, so I’d recommend it for kids 6. If you’re cooking for a big group, bring a few disposable aluminum baking pans or large baking sheets. There are plenty of pots and frying pans.The water was pretty low during our stay (of course, no fault of the owners), and the owners were very pleasant. Overall, a fun and relaxing family getaway! "

"The only drawback to this beautiful little cabin was the shower is too small. But everything else is beautiful. There is 3 other cabins on property and they are spaced out so you feel comfortable with your own space to relax. They are very accommodating and nice people.I recommend a visit especially if you want to go to First Monday Trade Days in Canton and maybe men that would rather sit and fish"

"Overall wonderful stay! We were in town for a family event and needed a space for two couples with an infant and a toddler. Rooms were large enough for our added Pack'N Plays. The yard is fenced, so no worries about the toddler wandering off into the pond or woods. The property is well maintained, but realize that the East Texas hayfields and farms are also industrialized dust generators, so be prepared to wipe down any outdoor furniture prior to use. While we didn't get the opportunity to play pickleball, the court looked awesome and very well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils. The host was very hospitable, attentive, and super easy to get in touch with. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again in the future!"
