"We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The staff made us feel at home from the very first minute. The property is simply stunning. Rich in history, beautifully restored, impeccably maintained, and incredibly elegant, it perfectly blends luxury with authenticity. Everything is spotless, and even the signature scent throughout the hotel adds to the unforgettable experience. The grounds are magnificent. The gardens are beautifully kept, the swimming pool is peaceful and inviting, and every corner of the property reflects the care and attention devoted to maintaining this exceptional château. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the beautiful medieval village of Monpazier, with its charming market and picturesque streets just steps away. Private parking is convenient, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Every detail exceeded our expectations. This is far more than a hotel—it’s an experience. "Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families and girls trip if you want a nice quiet and fun getaway in medieval French setup ."

"Had a single private room. Pretty basic. No soap or towel provided. Used on site underground parking which seemed very safe for my motorbike. In the morning the front desk is unmanned so plan ahead to get your vehicle out of the parking area in the morning. You will need to find someone to get the clicker from the front desk area to open the parking gate."
