Amazing pool

The pool is amazing but rooms are tiny, rustic and in need of renovation. Service was on a slower side but we really liked the staff.

Beautiful place with a superb swimming pool area. Apart from that a lot of services, like massages, mini-golfing and an outside gym. Nice restaurant, although not the best Sardinian food we have tasted. Very helpful personel.

Ristorante con cibo buono, colazione abbondante con dolci sempre freschi di giornata, personale simpatico e disponibile, pulizia impeccabile delle camere , servizi ottimi, giardino ben curato.Purtroppo la piscina che dovrebbe essere il fiore all'occhiello di quest' oasi è completamente da ristrutturare e da tenere pulitissima.

Muy buena experiencia

Nos gusto mucho el hotel, muy rustico, te traslada a otra epoca, muy bonita habitación, el espacio de la piscina, precioso!nos encanto.El recepcionista muy amable, El desayuno muy completo, buen cafe y la cena espectacular, en especial la pasta con frutos de mar, riquisimo! Poner por favor alguna canasta en la ducha donde poner el jabon, hacedle un poco de mantenimiento x dentro a la piscina y corregid a uno de los camareros que fue muy borde al consultarle algunas dudas.Aclaro q no fue ninguno de los q nos atendieron en la cena.

Un beau complexe propice au repos

Nous avons passé 5 nuits à Il Monastero avec l'idée d'être à mi-chemin de Cagliari et des plages de Villasimius. L'ensemble du personnel, plusieurs parlant français, est très accueillant et a la volonté de satisfaire au mieux nos demandes (voir notamment plus bas). Le complexe est très agréable, mélange d'ancien et d'ajouts contemporains. La qualité des chambres est variable. Eviter les chambres "côté jardin" qui en fait donnent sur une platebande séparée de la voie express par des panneaux anti bruit. Nous avions la chambre n°19, peu agréable, sombre. Après une nuit, nous avons demandé à en changer et nous sommes vus attribuer la chambre n°26 donnant sur une cour plus calme. La piscine, avec faux rochers façon Disneyland, est très belle mais aurait besoin d'être rénovée. Elle demeure cependant très agréable. Dommage que, comme partout en Sardaigne, l'établissement se croit obligé d'y mettre de la musique. Autre bémol, elle ferme à 18h00 !!! Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien garni avec de bons produits, variés. Nous avons testé également le restaurant qui propose une carte classique pour la région, avec un rapport qualité/prix correct. Petit plus : prêt de parasols et de serviettes de plages. Le petit côté mesquin : l'hôtel facture à l'arrivée 5€/personne/jour pour un ensemble de services : parking, accès à la piscine, petit-déjeuner et utilisation du coffre fort de la chambre ! il serait plus simple d'augmenter tout de suite le prix de la chambre.

Hotel avec beaucoup de charme

L'emplacement de l'hôtel n'est pas top le long d'une grande route, mais lorsque vous rentrez dans l'établissement vous oubliez tout. Beaucoup de charme cet ancien Monastère, la piscine est splendide, on a l'impression d'être à la plage. Le personnel est très sympathique et très avenant. Les chambres sont plein de charmes la douche est juste un peu petite.

Nice hotel close to plenty of nice beaches

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days in August/September. The property is pretty nice and the rooms simple but comfy. It is a good base to discover the southeast of the island with a main road close by that leads to Cagliari and the east coast. The staff is friendly enough though service in the restaurant could be improved. To be fair we only ate there twice, mainly because the first time we had to wait ages to get a menu (which I grabbed from an empty table in the end) and then the food was ok but overpriced. The restaurants on the way to and in Villasimius offered better service and quality.The breakfast needs improvement. We basically had the same food every morning, that got pretty boring after day 5 plus the scrambled eggs were always cold. As many said before the cleaners do a teriffic job! We didn't have a single grain of sand in our room. The property is quite nice, some bits need updating and bit of TLC.

Very welcoming from the start. Excellent service. Beautiful pool and quadrangle and lots of outdoor activities. Our room was charming with a big net covered bed and good sized bathroom. The restaurant is very good. Usually around the pool but inside when we were there because of poor weather. Breakfast was also good with an excellent choice of meats, cheeses and pastries. Let down only by horrible coffee from a machine. Would certainly return.

Hotel rilassante

L'hotel è tranquillo, adatto ad un soggiorno rilassante distante dalla bolgia del mare, ma nello stesso tempo comodo per raggiungerlo in auto (o a piedi le spiagge più vicine). Ottimo in genere il cibo, menù essenziale, ma cibi ben cucinati, colazione abbondante (considerato che l'hotel è un 3 stelle).

Excelente hotel num antigo Monasterio. Staff super atencioso e simpatico, piscine fantastica, bom café da manha. Quarto espacoso porem simples (afinal, era um monasterio). O hotel como um todo e sensacional, parece uma vigam no tempo. acesso as prais somente com carro. bem perto existem praias excelentes.

Ein Ort zum erholen

Kleines, sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Randlage. 10 Min. Fußweg, zum Strand. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Anlage, Zimmer mit der Ausstattung wie man sie bei einem 3☆ Hotel im Ausland erwartet. Kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm (sollte das gewünscht sein) Tägliche Reinigung. Immer nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Ein relativ vielseitiges Frühstück für "Italien" immer frisches Obst, Kaffee aus dem Automaten zur Selbstbedienung aber auch Cappuccino, Espresso auf Bestellung beim Kellner. Ab 9 Uhr wurde manches leer, Bacon und Rührei z. Bsp. aber spätestens bei Nachfrage direkt aufgefüllt. Nettes Restaurant direkt am Pool, mit wirklich leckerem Essen. Der Pool (9-18 Uhr) ist sehr ruhig, da er relativ wenig genutzt wurde vor allem in den Morgenstunden. Für eine Abkühlung, ideal mit ausreichend Schattenplätzen. Check in und out problemlos und schnell. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um schöne Orte und Strände zum Teil in kurzer Nähe, zu entdecken. Mietwagen defenitiv zu empfehlen.
