"I wouldn't normally visit a zoo (been there, done that). But staying at Taronga was an opportunity to do something different, and for a good cause too. The staff and volunteers were wonderful, and the buffet breakfast was great too. Tip: Best views (koalas) are from rooms in buildings 1, 2 and 3. Buildings 4 and 5 have the kangaroos outside, but they seem to 'hide' most of the day. Shops and restaurants on Military Road are an easy 30-45 minute walk away (or take the frequent buses). Balmoral Beach is about an hour's walk away and great for swimming."

"This hotel was beautiful! So chic, modern, and clean. It was located perfectly, we used public transport all around Sydney (pro tip get an opal card at the airport from WHSmith for the bus, do not take the train or uber, it will save you so much money!) and the hotel is right by very central bus stops. Lots of food options really close by also. We walked to and from Bondi beach, about a 30 minute walk, but through many restraints and cute shops. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone coming to Sydney! "

"Lovely location across from Bondi Beach with a huge balcony where we could enjoy the scenery. We had a suite on the front of the building that had everything we could need. Front desk were helpful in storing bags until we could check in and in helping to plan transportation to airport when we left."
