This was honestly the dirtiest hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The cleanliness was a major issue and really affected my experience. That said, all of the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and I really appreciated how welcoming and attentive they were

The place is fresh remodeled in side and out as well check in is up stairs but also has check in reception during the day at entrance lobby for customers. Room is clean and comfortable with daily activities including walking beach trails and yoga exercises for everyone.

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Especially megan who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Ideal base to explore, chilled atmosphere and offers daily activities. Only negative was the very loud doors banging closed up and down the corridor 24hr a day.

Excellent stay at Wakeup, staff and visitors are all super friendly with fun events every night which encourage socialising and making friends. Facilities are great too, showers have good pressure and heat and bathrooms are kept to a good standard. Very vibey overall - would definitely stay here again!

Great stay. Amazing location, right on the beachfront. Possibly the most sociable hostel I’ve stayed in. Everything was easy and simple to understand. Some improvements would be: hooks (for damp towels) in the rooms, another ‘chill’ area - away from the reception desk - especially as the rooftop is closed during rainy and windy weather, more yoga mats available, more ‘staff only areas’ for them to relax/eat in as they would use guests areas and could appear quite cliquey.

The location of this hostel is exceptional if you’re staying at the beach and couldn’t be better. However, it’s not ideal if you want to be close to the city center, as it’s quite far from everything else. The beds were very comfortable and the place was clean, but the bathrooms do not provide soap or shampoo. The lighting at each bed is very well designed and thoughtful, as it doesn’t disturb other guests.

We got mold poisoning from this room, really not a great stay. There is clearly a massive mold issue at the establishment as well as cockroaches and dust. Staff said we should email management but they never replied to us.
