We are located off-site and like to give our guests space to enjoy their home-away-from-home, but we`re only a phone call away should you need assistance or would like to book activities during your stay.

Children are welcome as part of the maximum number of guests. This house can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests per booking (including all adults, children and infants) - additional guests are not permitted.

Please note: Matakauri House is equipped with exterior-facing security cameras, and Minut technology to monitor excessive noise and gatherings. This property has fans but no air conditioning.
All children and infants are included in the total guest count - maximum number of guests should not exceed that specified on this listing, including all infants. Any bookings made exceeding the maximum number of guests will be cancelled.

A refundable security deposit will be charged to your card prior to your check in. This is a MajorDomo requirement of booking. The deposit value is usually equivalent to the cost of 1 night - we will advise you of the exact figure in your confirmation email.

As your villa is also a private home, we have strict policies around the use of the property. Should you be thinking of inviting external guests or hosting a function, party, or gathering at the villa, we require that you first obtain our permission. There may be additional costs associated with hosting functions.
