Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay. Has wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Good space and everything you need. Interesting drive up to the apartment, but easy once you have done it once or twice. Would recommend.

Beautiful cozy unit with gorgeous view, I personally enjoyed the uphill walk however it would be to much for unfit people or small children. Uber from town only 9$.

Comfort and Convenience at Queenstown

The house was very clean and well appointed with all mod cons. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the lake and mountains from the front windows was fantastic. We only had one night to enjoy the views from the front verandah but with daylight saving the sun didn't set till after 9:00 pm so we still had plenty of time after dinner to relax and enjoy the panorama. The location is great for folks who don't have a car as we were able to walk to the town centre in under 10 minutes.

A beautiful alpine challet

The property was amazing - the views are second to none. The driveway is VERY steep (as per add description). But it’s worth it for the co-signed and views of the property. It has everything you need. We stayed as 3 adults and 2 kids (under 4). We needed a car to get around as it was a big hill to get up to the property from Queenstown, but as I said 100% worth it as the property is stunning.

Highly recommend

My friend and I just needed a place for the night while we were down so this was ideal for us but would also be really good for a week or more too. Met the hosts as we arrived and they were very friendly and welcoming and made things easy. Close enough to town but also far enough away to not be right there, driveway is very steep but as long as no one else is in it it’s okay and inside was everything we needed and nice modern upgrades to the interior as well

A non event !

I had high hopes that this would be a great stay. Unfortunately it was not! We could not travel or stay because of a lock down in New Zealand. We were charged full fees which was very unfair. Cleaning and host fees as well!!! Yes I understand that this was in the 7 day period, but many of my family and friends travelling at the same time received transfer vouchers. Therefore I will not recommend bookabach or this property to any one . I have contacted both bookabach and the owner about this, neither have refunded any money. Most unsatisfactory, in fact really poor business practice.

New Years Stay

Overall this property was great to stay in with a group of friends. Was close to town and was an easy walk there and back. Outside area was good for sitting in the sun with a couple of cold beverages while looking out at the lake. Facilities were great but does not have an oven, which was a downside as we had to cook everything in a fry pan. Other than that, this house was great for the group of us

Such a great place to stay. Stunning views of what you come to Queenstown for! Mike was very accommodating with timing and detailed with what we needed to know about the place! Walk to town is doable but steep (very quick cab ride is better) thanks very much for a great stay
