"Stayed here for one night during a tour of Normandy. Wow! This place is incredible. Our room was incredibly comfortable, clean and rustic finished to very high specifications. "We really enjoyed our stay! The grounds were lovely and interesting, the room clean and spacious, and the whole feel was just right for our Normandy visit - nostalgic and relaxing! "Not amazing but okay. You pay for a room and that’s what we got. Chose not to eat breakfast so pretty much no contact with anyone. Very scenic but air smelled at time like manure. Maybe fertilizing? Overall it was fine and there for location that fit our plans and the free parking. Our room was not at the chateau but old animal stall building turned into rooms. Toilet extremely loud. "

Hospitality as it should be !
"Hôtel Le Louvre is just perfect ! I felt instantly welcome when I arrived thanks to a most friendly and professional receptionist. The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . The whole property is immaculate, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with great bedding and bathroom. A welcome pack of biscuits , a bottle of water and some nice soap and shampoo were a rather nice touch. The breakfast buffet , prepared by a very friendly team,offered a great selection of food and the coffee was good. I only stayed one night , before boarding my delayed ferry to Ireland but could happily have stayed longer to visit Cherbourg and surroundings . So well done and thank you to the Team...I'll definitely be back."
