"I generally love the old-fashioned side of the Dow, and my room was comfortable and clean, but the fact that the shower runs from cold to scalding off and on as you shower is disqualifying. Also, I needed to briefly use a plug-in hair tool to get ready, and there was not a plug anywhere near a mirror."

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The house was extremely clean and well-maintained, and it truly had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable trip.The location is simply amazing, you are right next to the beautiful Alabama Hills and just a short drive from the Whitney Portal. It was the perfect home base for our adventures. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the area!"

"The staff was wonderful, but I wish we had been informed earlier about the pool renovation. We were asked upon arrival if we wanted to cancel our reservation because the pool was being renovated. Unfortunately, that wasn’t really an option for us since we were already there and had booked three rooms. It would have been much more helpful to receive notice at least a day in advance so we could have planned accordingly. We were a little disappointed, especially because the kids were so excited to swim. Other than that, our experience was good, and the staff was very accommodating."
