"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "Lovely static caravan at a good location - we used it as a base to explore Inverness, Loch Ness, and Fort Augustus, at the start of our NC500 tour. We were super pleased with the specific location of this caravan on the site as it overlooks the golf course. "We absolutely LOVED Speyside Hotel. The couple that run it are wonderful people. Mark is so fun and so accommodating to his guests. He has a knack for knowing exactly which whisky each person will like and gave great recommendations. His wife Lucy is a phenomenal chef at the hotel restaurant. From the custom breakfasts that were included with our room rate, to the five star dinner menu…the food was absolutely delicious! Luke, Jessica and Katrina were all friendly and efficient. A truly wonderful staff that provided the best experience for us. The hotel bar is a blast at night with warm welcoming Highland vibes and friendly guests and locals. Our rooms were super spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure! I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Grantown-On-Spey and the surrounding areas!"

"This hotel is conveniently located to the whisky trail with Glenfiddich and Macallan distilleries being within 10min drive. Hotel has a nice restaurant on the property and there is another good one 2 min walking distance. Our room had all basic amenities and was clean. The hotel has a rustic character of a building over 100 years old. It is very lovely but it comes with old furniture, uneven floor, no AC, and no elevator. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with travel information and other needs."

"The check-in process would have went smoother if I had checked my email 😅. As I booked through Expedia, I was expecting to have the instructions on my expedia inbox. So, I had to phone the host for the instructions, which she happily provided in a text. Interesting way of checking in, with a code and a lock box. Although it's nice to be greeted, this way saved a lot of time in waiting. The hotel was clean, the smell when entering the room was clean, fresh. Nice toiletries, plenty tea, coffee etc. Kettle and a small iron and ironing board in the room. Comfy bed, at least I slept well. The only downside, for which I've taken a star is that the room next door was very noisy on the day of the arrival, some ladies/ girls, laughing out loud and could hear them as they were in my room. Every time they used the toilet, I could hear the door, water flushing etc...very loudly. After a full day of travelling, I would have appreciated some peace and quiet. I haven't made the host aware about this, there is a note at the entrance to keep it down and respect the other guests, but I suppose, not everyone is considerate and educated. The hotel is in a quiet area, couldn't hear the outside noise, just from the next door. I stayed in rm 4. At the time they were not serving meals, but there are plenty places where you can eat around, one of them is 5 minutes walk and they have a shop there as well. (On the expensive side). But there are supermarkets and everything if you need anything."
