Best location to stay in historical Ragusa

Best location to book a stay in historical Ragusa. Location can't be beat, view is incredible, rooftop terrace will be beyond expectations. The host is local, knowledgeable and so friendly. Breakfast is local specialties and each selection comes with an explanation of its background.

Stellar location, lovely host.

Vincenzo was a superb host, I can't say enough about how good he was. The location is unique, it is stylish and comfortable. We're a family, but I think couples would find the place very romantic. The local products that he provided for breakfast were delicious.

Vincenzo was a great host - he provided parking info via WhatsApp and met us by the piazza to escort us to the B&B. The room was on the smaller side, but it was of great value given the location, private bath, and a hearty breakfast. The B&B itself had a great outdoor terrace overlooking Ragusa Ibla. Guests should know that there were numerous steps they must climb before reaching the room. We enjoyed our one-night stay here!

Although we only spent one night here we wish we could have stayed longer. A beautiful property, very tastefully designed in an unbeatable location. Easy walk into the centre of Ragusa Ibla and free parking a 5 minute walk down the hill. Andrea, the manager, was delightful. She was so apologetic for making us wait to walk us from the parking to the hotel even though we had screwed up and not replied to her last message! She made great restaurant recommendations. And she put together a lovely breakfast the next morning out on the terrace with all of Ragusa Ibla at our feet. Stunning! The room was small but perfectly done and very comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!

Finding the hotel from the public parking lot was challenging. Ragusa Ibla is an old city and one does a lot of walking up stairs. Ask for specific walking directions from the hotel as mapping apps don’t do well with all the stairs. Rooms are small but it’s a nicely renovated old building on the main staircase that connects the medieval lower part of the city with the upper part. Not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges. We paid for a Junior Suite that was a small room with no sitting area, just a small Juliet balcony. Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were lovely.

Great location with fantastic roof terrace

We had a lovely stay at Intervallo Boutique Hotel! The staff was friendly and the breakfast with local food was excellent. The rooms are small, but enough to open a suitcase, and the hotel had great common areas. Parking options are within easy walking distance, and you’re basically already in the historical centre. The highlight is the location and the fantastic roof terrace with a great view of Ragusa Ibla.

A fantastic view from the breakfast restaurant and balcony, very nice breakfast and a friendly host. A well-functioning room and bathroom. It was very cold the first night due to cold weather and no heating. After mentioning this to the host the heating was turned on. We expect it as a B&B rather than a hotel. The location is just between the new and the old Ragusa, and with many stairs.
