Great value for the money
Great stay! Breakfast was simple but probably the best we had during our week in hotels. Scrambled eggs made to order instead of the typical pan full of not fully cooked eggs! Had a small problem with shower head but the owners fixed it in less than 5 minutes.

Great solo stay - August 2022
Great stay, just a few minutes drive from Plitvice Lakes National Park. Comfortable beds, clean room and good breakfast, pretty much all I needed.

I had to say the host was good .the lady was very kind in welcoming us BUT unfortunately the room wasn't what i payed for! *One big bed becomes two joint singles! End when i asked about it! The lady said that all the beds are the same !!! So why you put one big bed at the add to mislead everyone !? * as furnished to bear minimum : no ketel no cups, no fridge, no tv no airco or a ventilator...

I would highly recommend staying at Plitvicka Vila if you are planning to visit Plitvice National Park. Very clean and excellent service provided. The dinner served at the restaurant was excellent.

The hotel is well located, close to the park entrance. They have a very good buffet for breakfast, but the bathrooms of our rooms should be updated, they are very very old. The Tv is also small like the ones at the hospitals, but the bed was confortable.

Plitvicka Vila was ideal for our plans, a one-night stay and visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had good food and choices. Nice outdoor surroundings, with patio and terrace for sitting. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area.

I hadn’t realized that there was no air conditioning. Also, I had to leave my room to get internet connection. A full-sized bed is literally two twins out together.

Was perfect for our plan which was to stay at Plitvicka vila overnight and then visit Plitvice Lakes thr following day. Room was simple but ideal with comfortable beds. We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was closed in the evening as we were looking forward to some homemade Croatian cuisine. However the service, information and communication overall was excellent.

The young girl working the front counter was amazingly helpful, she got us a fan when we discovered there was no air conditioning. She was also very helpful as we were booking ferry tickets from split the following day. She gave great recommendations of Rastoke for an evening swimming and restaurant ideas. She was VERY helpful and made our stay. We were disappointed that there was no ac, as the mosquitos came in the window in the evening with the windows open. It made for a very hot few nights.

It is not located by the main road. But it was a sweet little swiss chalet-like hotel. Loved their breakfast with egg scramble and fresh fruits. Room was cool at night without air conditioner. And only 10min-driving to the park.

Hotel was in a quiet and remote location that was easy to get to about 10km from Plitvice lakes. Easy check-in but get there early as they close the front desk around 10pm. There is a family restaurant adjacent to the hotel with good home cooked dinners and the included breakfast was a buffet that had all the basics like eggs, coldcuts/cheese, toast, coffee, juice, bread, yoghurt, cereal, and, fruit. The room was small like most hotel rooms in the EU but adequate for two. The TV was old and not usable but we did not go to watch TV so it was ok. The bed was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this place to stay while you visit Plitvice.

Nice place to stay close to Plitvice Lakes
Nice place to stay close to Plitvice Lakes. Very friendly staff. Room was nothing special, but restaurant was very nice especially with their wood fired oven. Great breakfast and easy parking. Well worth the money.

Great value, good location for the National Park.
Anita and her husband are striving to improve guest facilities and have built an amazing new restaurant next to Plitvica Vila. The food they offer is excellent quality and generous. Breakfast is self service and has a good selection to choose from. The evening meal is a delicious traditional Peka potato dish with meats roasted over the open fire. There is also a full menu to choose from. The huge fireplace hand built by the owner made for a cosy warm evening. Anita was very helpful with suggestions on hikes in the National Park and we enjoyed our day, even in the pouring rain the scenery is so beautiful and of course the waterfalls were spectacular. We managed to get around using the local buses and the nearest bus stop was a 10 minute walk. Thanks for the little personal touches like loaning us umbrellas and the samples of homemade pear brandy. This place is a real home from home.

Check-in and check-out processes were quickly. We love the location, quiet sleep, nice beds, and owners. The room was clean and big. We had a big breakfast before went to the lakes. The breakfast selections and coffee choices were plentiful for all guests to choose. Thank you for a great night and excellent service.

Good value and convenient location
The hotel is located on the main road to the National Park and in 5 minutes by car you are at Entrance 1 (10 minutes to Entrance 2), so it is very convenient to explore the national park. The hotel is clean, rather characteristic and with comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good, even if the selection was not huge. Parking is available in front of the house. Couple of notes: wifi was available in the reception area but did not reach our room; there was a kettle and cups in the room, but no tea bags or sugar and a toaster at breakfast would really be a nice addition. All in all it is convenient and good value for money

A nice getaway near Plitvice Park
The food at the restaurant is amazing. Don't order off the menu for dinner - just get the special of the day. You won't regret it! The included breakfast was also quite good! We left very full and satisfied every morning. The husband and wife owners were very nice. Air con barely works but luckily the weather was cool during our stay. I don't think I would be able to withstand it during hotter weather. A mini fridge in the room would be nice to help keep drinks cold. Wifi was not good but you're in a remote area so it's to be expected. Overall, really great value. I would stay again - my only hestitation would be the air con situation. If that got rectified, I would have no hesitations!

Friendly check in/out. Cozy room. Requested 1 double and 1 twin. Got 1 double and 3 twins, so bigger than expected. On 3rd floor (top). Hot. Air conditioner not working. Told to open windows, no mosquitoes. Daughter did get bite by eye. Good variety for breakfast, but very few scrambled eggs remaining and were cold. Took a long time to be replenished. Slow WiFi.

On July 13 they were called by an Expedia rep as we needed to add our 16 yr old son to our stay. Expedia has record of the call as speaking to a “Maria. We arrived and the receptionist said no one called, she called the owner and the owner said nothing could be done for us and we then found out we had to pay cash. We slept with 3 people in a two person bed. The room was horribly hot (converted attic); we opened the windows only to have smoke from the guests outside smoking waft in. Next morning, we were nice to the owner but when my husband went to pay - she was rude and blamed us for not calling sooner to announce our son. My husband reminded her that Expedia called their hotel and spoke with “Maria”. She again said no Maria works here...a few minutes later he heard an employee call another employee “Mari”. My husband also told her that the bathroom smelled like urine and the shower drain backed up water up tour ankles - it was yucky. She insisted that wasn’t the case (insinuating we lie?). She said she cleaned the bathroom..I don’t doubt that but she smells cleaning solutions while doing it, but the urine smell is there. They have a lovely dining and patio facility....but when she insinuated we lie and tried to throw blame on us for her staff mistake and lack of communication- it was upsetting. She never once said “I’m sorry about this, let’s see what we can do”.Poor customer service. We didn’t let it ruin our family vacation...we travel a lot, this was bad.

Fabulous place, 6 km to entrance 1 of park and early breakfasts so you can beat the rush. Receptionist kindly spoke excellent engkish to us and explained walks of the reserve. Excellent traditional meal katovicliac?? Delicious and generous serving. Cant fault it... Unless you need wifi.. Weak signal for both mine and husbands phone, but that maybe just us... Stay here definately.. Beautiful area, stunning views..

Great one night stay while visiting Plitvice Nacional Park. Young lovely lady at the front desk gave us advise about the Park. The rooms where basic, clean and great. We ended up having two rooms: one for our teenager. It was nice to sleep and cool off by open window. The owners cooked excellent dinner, one of the best we had on this trip. Thank you very much for all.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Views of the fields and hills wonderful. The inn and the restaurant had a cozy mountain cabin feel. Breakfast was good, wish we had had dinner. It is close to entrance 1 of the park, less than 10 min. The night of our stay was hot, a heat wave, and our quad room on the top floor had a large portable AC which required a large hose to be placed outside which meant the window had to be open in order for AC to work. I would still recommend staying here because the people were great (helped us with horseback riding reservations, park info) but would hope for a cooler stay.

Nice hotel
We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is nice, facilities are basic but adequate. The air conditioning was only a floor standing unit, which didn't really work. Luckily the weather wasn't too hot. The restaurant has very nice well priced food, and breakfast was great too. Only a short drive away from the Plitvice Lakes which was handy. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had a good stay.
