It was easy to find and although it was really central to everything it was quiet. The reception staff were polite and helpful. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room and the bed was quite hard. We went for breakfast quite late but within the scheduled time and there was not much left. We had to ask the staff to refill some breakfast items. We still enjoyed our stay here however.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the location is perfect. Very close to restaurants as well as places if interest. Room was quiet and cozy.

This hotel was loud! Our room was right over a cafe that went on after midnight. Trash truck woke us up at 4 am and the noise from the room above us went on for quite a while into the night. It is an old hotel and was frankly more roomy than a lot of hotels in Italy, but way too much noise to keep us up.

I recommend this hotel for comfort, hygiene, and the staff services are exceptional (hotel & restaurant), in a real and decent way. thank you! At the reception for his seriousness and promptness, he is attentive to all the details so that everything is perfect, but if you have a wish do not hesitate, they will help you. everything is as in the pictures posted on the site. the street is full of shops and is lively until late in the evening, where you can find everything you want. The services offered were clearly higher than the booking price. Thanks again!

Great little hotel in paradise
This was a great little hotel. Very impressed with the staff. I had an early morning train before the breakfast room was open. When I checked out the desk agent fixed me a cup of coffee and gave me a sweet. That was service!

The best feature is the location, just a 5 minute walk in a straight line from the train station. It’s in a small shopping mall, so if using GPS to find it go IN the shopping mall not round the outside! The family room was quite small for 4 people but ok for a short stay. Bathroom was very small but clean. Breakfast was included in the price and pretty good, standard continental breakfast but plenty on offer. Reception is open 24/7 so no restrictions on coming and going, overall, if you can get a good price I’d recommend it, but shop around as price varies from site to site.

Great value for the Portofino area
Great little hotel that makes a Portofino holiday affordable, yet still gives you a clean room and a great breakfast. Friendly reception, overall great option for the price in this area.

The wall are so thin you could hear the people next door sniffling. They kept us up till 1am. We had to go to the front desk to make them quiet down.

Not the first time at this hotel, it is my third. Very tough to get anything in that area with this great location and price. The only thing needed improvement is the breakfast.

One night in rapallo
The hotel is placed in the very centre and it was very easy to leave the car and walk around. Staff at reception very kind and available of advices. Breakfast we liked (international + typical local focaccia). Room a bit noisy because of the side street and our A/C. Bed confortable Nevertheless the hotel shows evident signs of wear & tear (door handle not fixed, side bed plug not fixed, wi-fi weak, shower hose leak). There are points of improving (in 2013 Tripadvisor has given this Hotel 4 stars, that's why I give today 3)

Hotel Cavour Rapallo
Hotel is really in a good central location. The hotel and our room was comfortable and clean BBC news on TV. Breakfast was basic but good typical European style cereals, cooked meats, cheese, yogurts etc. Staff on reception were very polite.For the price and for a short stay I would definitely recommend.

Awesome hotel
the front desk people were all very nice and helpful. THe location was excellent as it was a 3 minute walk to the marina. I would definitely stay here again.

Good intentions, but the hotel is a chip off the 80s. The service was very good, got a free upgrade, and it made a huge difference, as the initial room would have been a mere cupboard. The second room was very spacious, with a large balcony (although no chairs or table on the balcony, so a bit useless). The view from the room was horrendous, and since it's based in a galleria, I would imagine all of the rooms are like that. The appliances were also a bit dated, the light switch had to be held on with a bit of well placed bit of paper. The bed spread was from another era, very old looking and tired. The bathtub is always a nice surprise. The breakfast was basic. Just ham and cheese for something savoury, the rest just croissants, yoghurts and cereals. Nothing memorable. The location is great for a Ligurian base.

Super good location, very easy to get to
If you are on your way to Cinque Terre or Portofono, Rapallo is a good stopby with charming streets, gardens, restaurants and bars, especially compared to santa margherita ligure, Hotel Cavour is a very good choice for price, location and helpful staff. From the train station you can almost walk directly to this hotel, and the ice cream store in front of the hotel is exceptionally good, esp. the pinenut one!

The hotel has a central location, close to the port, seaside, it was no more than 3 minutes to get to the restaurants along the coast. Everything was so close which is the strongest point of this hotel. The room was really small, it does not look like as in the pictures,the air-conditon worked a little bit bad. I would not reccommend it for longer stays, but for 1-2 nights it was okay. Rapallo lays in a very adorable area, maybe the best spot in Liguria Coast, it is really worth to visit nearby!
