We stayed in a beach unit. Beautiful views, great room, and really nice staff. There was a small island next to the beach you could jafak or SUP to. Great snorkeling too
The room was beautiful. From the lovely netting over the bed to the fresh flower touches evrything was perfect. Best outdoor living space with stunning view and private plung pool. We were in it everyday. The staff was outstanding, the restaurant delicious, and the property gounds and access to watersports amazing. We are already recommending it to others and would go back.

Room was fantastic location also fantastic. Unfortunately this was marred by filthy miner birds allowed to takeover restaurant jumping on utensils, tables, and even eating from the tongs and plates and serving spoons in the servery area whilst staff did nothing
The Nautilus is a beautiful place to stay. Nice and quiet and clean. Everything is in walking distance. Just need more variety on the menu for the restaurant as you feel like your eating the same stuff everyday. Need more fresh fruit everyday. You need to get ideas for the menu of the Pacific Rarotonga. As they had an amazing menu specially for dinner.
Excellent location, nice rooms and really enjoyed the sports equipment. Continental breakfast is fairly poor - runs out really quickly especially pastries like croissants. Cooked is awesome. Manager and owner were staying when we were there - excellent hosts. Resort staff mixed bag. Watersports gear was great.
We had a brilliant 16 night stay at Nautilus. Everyday was like a dream. The staff at Nautilus are brilliant. Waka collected us from the airport, gave us some island tips and also took us to a local rugby game! Mahea, Tia and Doniel at the reception were always warm, welcoming and helpful. Make sure you go and see Anna at the spa - she is excellent at massage, facial and pedicure! Justine, Rho and Calessi were great in the restaurant. The stand out staff member for us was Janet. Each and every time Janet saw us she made us feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she looked after us spectacularly. Nautilus are lucky to have her!
Brilliant spot on Muri Beach with access to kayaks, snorkels and paddle boards. Our Beachfront Are was fabulous with our very own plunge pool and just a few steps from the beach! Great comfy bed, air conditioned with a huge bathroom.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary here and will definitely be back in the future!

Room was clean, albeit getting a little tired. Staff were very helpful. View from room was stunning but water near beach was very rocky.
Resort offers weddings but has only one restaurant so on wedding days other guests are only offered room service and restricted use of other areas. Only one day of our stay was affected but there were two more weddings in the week after we left. Had we known well in advance we would have cancelled and booked another resort. The resort did eventually offer some compensation for the disruption.
Perfect location on beach and walkable to restaurants and shopping. Wonderful staff! Very friendly and helpful Quiet and beautiful Rooms large and very comfortable.
The whole experience was absolutely amazing, fron the moment we arrived and was greeted by Grace both her and all the staff from hospitality to facilities maintenance could not have been better, we were treated like royalty! When i had an accident whilst there they made sure transport was hand for meattend all my health and dental appontments with the catering team even cooking me off menu meals aa i was struggling to eat, I cannot praise the resort and the Staff highly enough.
Our 6 day stay in the Cook Islands was planned to be one of relaxation and the Nautilus resort fulfilled these expectations and more!
An intimate resort comprised of small semi detached bungalows equipped with their own plunge pools we never felt it was too crowded and the service from every staff member was first class.
Special mention must go to Janet and Justin who were our two most regular servers in the restaurant - they were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what we were planning to do or how our day had gone and when we left they felt like good friends.
We left Nautilus relaxed and refreshed and wanting more!
the Cook Islands has a staff shortage at the moment, but it was most notable at the Nautilus.
we were told on three separate occasions that the bar was closed for the afternoon as they didn't have a bar tender. there was also no room service available for the duration of our stay.
what staff they had were friendly enough, but very busy trying to keep up. we did note that some of other resorts we went to looked to have plenty of staff, so not sure what the issue was.
the room was nice, although a bit tired and could do with a freshen up to bring it up to the photos on the website.
for $900 a night, we were left underwhelmed.
The resort is wonderful - from the location, to the gardens and all the amenities (we loved our private dip pool and the restaurant. You must try the seafood pasta). The best part was the staff. They were all so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be going back!
Excellent accomodation and location, close all facilities and ideal beach with Lagoon area.
This resort deserves 5 star rating however the restaurant lets the resort down and the owners need to invest in improving this. There are plenty of examples (OTB) of where they need to be when it comes to food quality and variety. Being closed two days a week is just not acceptable when pay this price to stay there,
Ideal position right on the beach with great restaurant over-looking pool and beach.Accommodation superb with large 'ares'
Only disappointments were that night lighting very poor for reading , need a kindle and lagoon too shallow for swimming, the resort pool needs to be heated ?solar, at this time of year.
We had the 2 bedroom villa which was perfect for us with kids. Spacious and beautiful. Great location, easy to walk to market and restaurants. Lagoon is beautiful but no fish, just full of sea cucumbers so it’s not fun to walk in. Walk further down or drive to a different area for tons of fish right at your doorstep.
