"Private courtyard with pool was great, the room very clean, the resort looked tired & needs updating staff very friendly, however the food was very average and we ate down the road great little restaurant on the beach.
Would stay again for the accommodation having a private pool!"
"Cub Raro is the most relaxed resort ive ever stayed in. It may not be 5 star but it has everything you need, including great staff. We would definitely stay here again when traveling with just adults."
"My husband and I could not fault The Islander. From the moment we checked in we felt like part of a large family. From the friendly smile and impeccable service from Serena at reception, to the amazing party vibe from Memory in the Hula Bar. To our wonderful friendly wait staff, bar staff, room turn over ladies. WOW JUST WOW. Meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner were so tasty, fresh and very generous portions. Thanx chefs.
Beds super comfy, shower was exceptional pressure. Meitaki Ma'ata Team."
"Lovely setting with superb gardens, streams with waterlillies and bridges. Superb staff. Nicely renovated bathrooms.
Room wasn’t what I booked and although it was technically a more expensive room I would definitely prefer the high ceiling of the room I booked. Room smelt a bit musty.
Great paddle boards and kayaks etc. Pool could do with solar heating during winter months.
Muri is a fun place to stay with everything on your doorstep including coffee, restaurants and a night food market, as well as Motu’s - just not a snorkelling spot - but you don’t have to go far for that."
"We stayed for a week at the Lagoon Breeze Villas, it was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. It’s not on the beach but it’s only across the road. It has a lovely pool.
It’s a great place to stay for families."
"This resort is in an ideal place with all rooms having an ocean view. The shipwreck hut bar and restaurant on site is a great bonus. The staff on site were excellent. The rooms and some of the site facilities could so with a bit of an upgrade but overall it was an excellent place to stay and the cost was very reasonable. We would definately stay there again in the future."
"We loved our stay at The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium. It truly felt like a real holiday. We loved the fresh towels each day, the range of activities for both adults and children, and the foosball, pool, and ping pong tables.
The kids were thoroughly entertained, and everyone got exactly what they wanted from the holiday. The highlight of our stay was the snorkeling tour. A special mention goes to Moi and Joe, who made our trip especially memorable.
The service from all the staff was amazing—they were all so friendly and welcoming. Salome and Tema, our cleaners, were wonderful, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
We would definitely return.
The only downside was the smell of cigarette smoke. The designated smoking area was quite close to the other amenities, and at times smoke drifted into our room from a nearby smoker. Aside from that, our stay was fantastic."
"The place was really great, comfortable, clean and well looked after. it was a pleasure to stay there. Paul is very friendly and gave many tips on where to eat/snorkel etc. Would definitely recommend this place to others"
